The charity exists for the benefit of the public, lo relieve the suffering of
horses and ponies in need of care and attention. The trustees have had
regard lo the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit when
reviewing the charity's aims and activilies.

during the year
During the year, the charity Gonlinued to provide homes, care facilities
and support for horses and ponies in need. The trustees remain
committed to maintaining Ihe welfare of the animals in the charity's cafe
and lo using the charity's funds to further its charitable objeclives.

charity's policy on reserves
Cash at bank at 30 September 2025 was £49,926, all of which was held
in unrestricted funds. During the year, the charity received a significant
giftllegacy of £67,636 from the estate of a deceased supporter. The
trustees are extremely grateful for this generous support, which has
strengthened the charity's financial position and will be used to support
the ongoing care and welfare of horses and ponies in accordance with
the Gharit
's ob'ectives.

The charity's principal SoUr￿S of funds are donations from the public and
occasional legacy income. The trustees consider the main financial risk
to bè a reduction in donations and fundraising income. The charity aims
to maintain sufficient reserves to cover at least two months, running cosls
and to meet unforeseen expendilure.
