Rugby Fvodbank is a Core service provided by the chariiy. During ihe year we supplied 615(Tr120?4 - 7089) three-day
L'mergency food supplieb lo people in crisis. This was a 7D/o decrease on 2023P4. We received 87,435 kg5 (98.269 k¥s}
of donated lood from Ru8b)' the Surrounding area and di51ributed 87.$44kg5.1100,998 kgs).
W¢ are ¥rateful lo Ru8by Borough Council for providing us iviih Ihe spround floor of Th¢ l.awn and Ret￿81 building lor
use as the foodbank. This 15 ideally siiuated in ihe middle of Rugb). and close io the Hope Cenire. Whilst M'c continue
lo use this building. Ihi5 remains a shon-iem arrdngement and w¢ coniinue to seek. longer terni pr¢n)i5es in a suiiable
location.
We retain a 'Rent Fund, of £100.000 io help cov¢r ihe antlclpoied cost of renting a unit on ¢ommercial temis.
We r¢¢eiv¢d a grani of £8,536 from RLigby Borough Council which was re¢¢ived in April 2025 toward5 ihe costs or
running the foodbank van., and £6.000 fron) Wan4'ickbhir¢ Cuunty Council Hardship Fund for lood purchases ￿h1¢h are
needed when there i.s shorfa¥e of donaiions ol-ess¢niial iteills or iiems ii'hich are not donaicd.
The Foodbank continues to work with B¢dwonh Rugby and Nuneaion Ciiizen) Advice Bur¢au {BRANC.ABI to provide

During ihe y¢ar ive were aH'ard¢d a grani from Trussell io undertake Ihroughout Warwickshire the Organi5ing and
Mobilising {OLMI Project. The aim of ihis projeci was to gain a betier understanding of rhe need l.or foodbanks across
Warwickshire and reduce the dependency upon rhem.
The project undertook research, SUTve>s, and conversarions with foodbank users, io idenLify the major coi)Iribuiing
facrors which included council tax debi, and hornelessness. We also esiablished a group of foodbank user5 to share their
views und inforn) our work within (he foodbank and with our wider Caiiipaigns.
The PToJecr also supported Liur partner Wan%'ickshire foodbanks io engage wilh Iheir respective MPS on ille Esseniia15
Guoraniee. helping to amplify Ihe voices of ihose mosi affected by poverty across (he region.

The Hope Cenlr¢'5 three Key Workers and administration support alona with The Foodbank s Engagement OtTi¢er and
Support Worker all play a vital role in the detailed daily ivork a4sistin￿ clients on their joumeN oui of homelessness and
foc>d poverty. Their growing skills sets and links itriih Ihe ivider commLinity work well io ensure clienls are helped in che
most iailored way possible. Cli¢ni testiinonies bear witness to this.
On¢ of our Key Workers left us during the year to follow her passion for 5upponin8 women and tamili¢s which h8d
grown over her lime working wilh ihe ivomen ai ihe Hop¢ Cenlre. Follow'inby a recruitmeni campaign we appoinred a
replaccnicni ivho she recommended to us. He brin85 willi hiin boih lived e.Np¥ri¢nce and e%perien¢e of workins with
individuals ivho face crisis around subsian¢e misuse as one of lh¢ leads ai the local Narcoii¢s Anonynious group.
We also recruited a n¢w Engagement Officer for ihe Foodbank. During the period up to an appoinrmeni being mad¢.
