1. Accounting Policios
1.1 Basls of Accounting
The financial statements have been prepared under the historiGal Gost convention
aTrd in accordance with tho appli¢able Accountlng Standards , the Stalement of
Recomrnended Praclice"Accountlng and Reportlng by Charltles- published In March
2005. The prfnclpal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of th6 financlal statements
are set out below.
1.2 Incomlng Resource8
Voluntary income and donalion$ are included in incoming resources when they are
receivable, except when the donors specify that they must be used in future
accounting periods or donors, conditions have not been fulfilled, then Ihe income is
deferred. Tho income from fundraising v8ntur8s 1$ sh¢)wn gross, with the associated
oosts induded in fundratsing costs.

opinion of the trustees, there are no issues arising which would suggest
any 0th8r basis as b8ing more appropriate.

Evening Madrasa
The madrasah was teaching online during lockdown
We opened again in June 2021 and now have108 stUd￿ts,
wlth an avernge of 18 students in each class
There are 6 classes (3 girls and 3 boys)
Class size reduc¢d to 819
Reduced hours of teachlng to I hour for each dass.
Thls has Improved the quallty of teathlng and leamtng
We held Children's competftions, award day, and two parents,
evening sessions.
We have14 children on the waitlng list

Masjid Team

Masjid Team
The Masjid has been available for the 5 daily
salah. We have seen the attendees return to
pre pandemic levels. We have also seen a lot
more of a divers community attend the Masjid,
Allahmdililah. We see an average of 15 to 20
people attend the daily Sallah.
Durin9 the social distancing phase due to
COVID we held two Jammat After the restrlction
were lifted we found it V41as more comfortable to
keep the two Jammat. We see an average of
400 people attend the 1 St Jammat arKI an
average of 150 in the 2nd JammaL

Masjid Team
Eid-al-Fitr Salah was held in the Masjid due to the COVID 19
restriction and the council restricting the park gathering. We held
3 Jammat and over 1 OCK) people attended in total. We encourage
famil

id and the JamaL
Eid-al-Adha was h¢ld In the park and Allahmdullilah over 21XX)
people attended, we only held one Jamrnat at 10am. People
attended with their famlty membern and enjoyed the tlme.

Masjid Team
We have an amazing team of volunteers that Sacrifi￿ their time
each week to keep the Masjid dean, safe and functional. At
Jummah & Eld we see our largest attendees and our volunteers
ensure that people attending at these times are safe, comfortable
and assistance is provSded where needed. The deaning team
meets ever Thursday to ensure that the Masjdi is clean and safe
for the next day.
Our Masjid is attended by pwple from all background,
Alhamdulila This is a blessing fr•nn Allah and somethin9 we have
been activety encouraging. Our volunteer group refiects the
divwsty of our congregation.
