These<br>donations have been put use to spending on completing building work,<br>extensions to house students as well as repair and maintenance of<br>existing buildings. New courses have been added to the existing profile<br>as well as links have been tied up with local schools, colleges. We visited there to impart knowledge on Online Transactions to the students of the school. 5. CSA department visit to Govt. Sr. Sec. School Village “Padhiana” Under able guidance of Worthy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar and whole Management, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, the CSA department has successfully visited Govt. Sr. Sec. School Village “Padhiana”, Distt. Jalandhar on 26-May-2022. We visited there to impart knowledge on Digital Marketing to the students of the school. 

6. Workshop on “Tools and Eyes of Nanotechnology (TEN-2022)” Department of Physical Sciences (under the aegis of IQAC) have successfully conducted a Two-Day National workshop on “Tools and Eyes of Nanotechnology (TEN-2022)” on 18-19th May 2022.

Workshop on Robotics and Mechatronics RYB club of the department of Electrical Engineering, SBBSU, Jalandhar, organized a workshop on Robotics and Mechatronics on 9th November, 2022. A total of 60 students of EE and ME attended the workshop. The students learned about robotics, robotic systems, and their uses. The students gained knowledge in developing robotic arms. 58. Workshop on “Industrial Automation- Scope & Future” The RYB Club, Deptt of EE, SBBSU, organized a workshop on “Industrial Automation- Scope & Future”, on 19th October, 2022. The resource person was, Ms. Harsween Kaur, Director, Wonder Systems India Pvt. Ltd, Mohali. 59. Tree Plantation Drive-2022 Student Council, SBBSU, organized a tree plantation drive, on 06/06/2022, at university campus. In this plantation drive, faculty, staff member and students of SBBSU, Jalandhar, were invited. (Dr.) Dharamjit Parmar (Worthy Vice-Chancellor, SBBSU), supported the tree sapling plantation drive and motivated the students to take care of the saplings so that they grow into healthy trees. 60. 7 Days Art Workshop by Favicryl Department of Fashion Designing has organized a 7 days workshop from 15-09-2022 to 23-09-2022. In this workshop students learnt about Art and Craft and Textile Printing. Madam Ritu Lal was the resource person. She is FCP in Pidilite Industries. The workshop was conducted on various techniques of art which is very important for students as it help them to represent their work in an impressive manner. 61. The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, or World Drug Day, is marked on 26 June every year to strengthen action and cooperation in achieving a world free of drug abuse. The day is recognized to highlight the health challenges related to drug abuse and encourage combating measures like prevention, education, treatment, and rehabilitation. Internal Smart India Hackathon, SIH 2023 “Creativity and imagination are the foundation of our society. It all starts with a thought. “ With the heavenly blessings of Sant Baba Dlawar Singh ji (Brahm ji), and with the benign patronage of our Honorable Chancellor, Sant Baba ManMohan Singh ji and under the spirited leadership of our dynamic Vice-Chancellor, Prof.(Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar ji and under the able guidance and support of Registrar and Dean UIET, UICAIS, Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Dhir, the department of Computer Science and Engineering and the department of Computer Science and Application under the aegis of IQAC and IIC cell of SBBSU, organized Internal Smart India Hackathon- SIH 2023. 

63. Two Days Skill Development Workshop “Never chase opportunities. Let it come to you by creating value and building rare skillsets.” Computer Science and Application under the aegis of IQAC and IIC cell of SBBSU, organized a two day skill development workshop. 

The key note speakers of the workshop were- Mr. Houssein Ahssimi Mamadou and Mr. Rohit Dubey from WOJ Education and Qwasar Silicon Valley. A special lecture was delivered by Mr. Kwame Yamgnane, CEO and Co-founder of Qwasar Silicon Valley and Mr. Jay Minhas, Philanthropist and owner of real estate company, ‘Elegant Development Inc.’, Canada. Mr. Jay Minhas is also a committed community leader with active personal involvement and fund-raising. His philanthropic involvement in Canada and India speaks volumes of his giving nature. He believes in giving back to the community he belongs to. 

The mission of Qwasar Silicon valley and WOJ Education is to empower learners through innovative, project-based learning. With this commitment to continue a journey of redefining education, our key note speakers, delivered an interactive session for the students of SBBSU, where the students developed codes for real time projects. The session also demonstrated use of cutting-edge learning platforms, to empower individuals with a diverse range of courses. The key take away from the workshop was the ability to use cutting-edge learning platforms to design real time projects.

Library resources are meant to be kept for long periods of time. A primary function of a library is to be an organized storehouse of information. As well as finding very current information, you can also find books that are no longer published and older issues of magazines. The primary focus of the workshop is to teach the use of library resources. A workshop on 'Use of Library Resources' was organized for Non-teaching staff in Sant Baba Bhag Singh University. It was conducted in the Central Library under the guidance of Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar. Donations in the UK are being made by specific individuals and families who are linked or associated to the Gurudwara and the saint’s vision. 

The donations from the UK are just a small help to the massive aid needed to develop the educational complex.
