**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**
The University project is a continued and ongoing project, the donations from the UK have been sent to India at various points in the year. These donations have been put use to spending on completing building work, extensions to house students as well as repair and maintenance of existing buildings. New courses have been added to the existing profile as well as links have been tied up with local schools, colleges. The charity has encouraged the university to also create links with companies to allow students who graduate to take up graduate positions within these companies as a starting point in their career ladder.

World Environment Day Date: 05-06-2021
1. World Environment Day was celebrated through online mode on 5th June, 2021 in the Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar jointly organized by Department of Agriculture and Department of Botany. Key note speaker Dr. Vivek Sharma, Associate Professor, Eternal University, Baru Sahib, Himachal Pradesh.
Awareness Camp "Practice of Health & Hygiene" Date: 01-09-2021
2. The Department of Life Sciences & Allied Health Sciences, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar, organized an awareness camp "Practice of Health & Hygiene" on the 1st September, 2021 (10:00 am onwards). During the camp, Department of Life Sciences and Allied Health Sciences sensitized students of Government High School, Nandachaur, Hoshiarpur about the mode of infections & precautions for COVID-19 disease. The faculty and students of B.Sc Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) explained the symptoms, causes, risk management and precautions for Diabetes, Rheumatoid arthritis, Urinary tract infections through charts prepared by students. Besides, the people were made aware regarding the diet plan, exercise and the hygiene practices. The camp was valued by the local community and appreciated by the Principal and staff of the school.
World First Aid Day Date: 14-09-2021
3. Each year, 10th September is observed as World First Aid Day to promote the training of first aid to all people. With the heavenly blessings of Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) under the supervision and patronage of Honorable Chancellor, Sant Sarwan Singh Ji and Worthy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar, the Department of Life Sciences and Allied Health Sciences celebrated World First Aid Day on 14th September, 2021. To remark this day, first of all its importance was explained to the students. Some of the basics of first aid were demonstrated and the students were motivated to help anyone in crisis or in need of First aid. Approximately 30 students participated in the event.
International Literacy Day Date: 08-09-2021
4. University Institute of Education and University Institute of Humanities with their collaborative efforts have successfully organized the "International Literacy Day" Programme on September 08, 2021 from 10 am to 12 pm. Dr. Mandeep Singh (Assistant Professor) was the key note speaker who talked about the importance of literacy in our life. Along with this, students from various departments have participated in poster making and slogan writing competition.

Declamation Contest on "International Day of Democracy" Date: 08-09-2021
5. To celebrate the ‘International Day of Democracy’ a Declamation Contest was organized by the Department of History of UIH on 15th Sept 2021 from 12:00 to 1:30 pm. Students, especially girls participated enthusiastically in the event. The event highlighted the various aspects of Democracy, which made it highly informative.
Celebrated NSS Day Date: 24-09-2021
6. NSS and Red Ribbon Club of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar celebrated NSS Day on 24th September 2021. Poster Making Competition was organized on this day in which students from all over the University participated and presented their art. The theme for the posters were “Save Environment, Save Water and Say No to Plastics”. NSS was formally launched on 24th September 1969, the birth centenary year of the father of the nation. Therefore, 24th September is celebrated as NSS Day. The students declared as winners to be awarded with attractive prizes and certificates. E-certificates to be provided to all the participants.
7. Webinar on Right to Information & Right to know: Constitutional Perspectives Date: 28-09-2021
- University Institute of Law organized a Webinar in association with District Legal Services Authority, Jalandhar on Right to Information & Right to know: Constitutional Perspectives on 28th of September, 2021, to celebrate Right to Know Day. Mr. Ajay Pal Singh Pathania, Advocate, Distt. Court Jalandhar and Mr. Suteekshan Samrol, Advocate, Distt. Courts Jalandhar were the speakers of the webinar.
World Ozone Day Date: 30-09-2021
8. Every year National Ozone Day is celebrated with a theme that spreads the message about the importance of Ozone layer. World Ozone Day is observed on September 16, every year. It is celebrated to spread awareness among people about the depletion of the Ozone Layer and search for possible solutions to preserve it. This event is a gathering of hundreds of thoughtful, innovative doers, who share a common interest in practical solutions for current Ozone layer issues. This is an important day for Indian Scientific Community. It is a day to innervate young minds and to impart scientific spirit with possible strategies and solutions for Ozone layer depletion.
9. Commemoration of International Day of Non-Violence Date: 02-10-2021
The United Nations observes International Day of Non-Violence every year on 2nd October, which is the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. On this day people honor the universal significance of the concept of non-violence with an aim to secure a culture of peace, tolerance and understanding. The day is observed across the world to spread the message of non- violence. The University Institute of Humanities (SBBSU), commemorated this solemn day by organizing a guest lecture on the subject. The resource person invited was, Dr. Rakesh Bawa, Department of History, G.N. Khalsa College, Daroli Kalan, Jalandhar.
10. Expert Lecture on International Girl Child Day Date: 11-10-2021
The first International Day of Girl Child was first celebrated on 11th October, 2021 to signify equal opportunities for girls and promotes about gender equality. It also focuses on the issues faced by girls worldwide because of their gender. The 9th International Day of the Girl Child 2021 is celebrated with the theme “Digital Generation, our Generation”. 11. Vigilance Awareness Week
Date: 26-10-2021 to 01-11-2021
NSS and Red Ribbon Club of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar celebrated Vigilance Awareness week from 26th October to 1st November 2021. Various activities were organized every day during this week.
Day 1, 26th October 2021 (Tuesday): Quiz competition was organized in which 40 students took part very actively. There were two sections, first was based on general questions and vigilance related questions were asked on the later part. Two teams were declared as winner.
Day 2, 27th October 2021 (Wednesday): Essay writing competition was organized, the theme for which was “Good Governance”. 15 students participated in the event presenting their skills.
Day 3, 28th October 2021 (Thursday): Debate competition was organized on the topic “Impact of Foreign Funding on Indian Economy”. Around 30 students participated very energetically sharing their views and ideas out of which four students were declared as winners.
Day 4, 29th October 2021 (Friday): Poster Competition was conducted on the theme “Corruption” in which 15 students took part. The objective is to create awareness among the society regarding corruption free community and to eliminate the problem of corruption from our country.
Day 5, 1st November 2021 (Monday): In order to Build a corruption free India, pledge was taken by 50 students.
12. Awareness Camp - Discourage Single Use Plastic Date: 28-10-2021
NSS and Red Ribbon Club of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar in association with ESM Cell, SBBSU organized an awareness drive to discourage the use of Single use plastic on 28th October 2021. The members of NSS Unit and ESM Cell along with the students participated in the event and aware the staff of canteen and other surrounding shops to discourage the use of single use plastic. They also alert the students thereby, and asked them not to purchase disposable plastics glasses, packets and plates. Instead, suggested them to use disposable paper plates and glasses. The team also placed posters in nearby areas related to discourage single use and non-disposable plastic materials.

Date: 8-11-2021
University Institute of Law, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Khiala, Jalandhar organised a webinar on “ The Pan India Awareness Campaign” in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority, Jalandhar on “The PAN India Awareness Campaign” to celebrate World Legal Services Day. The Chief Guest/ Key Note Speaker of the event were Ms. Rupinderjit Kaur, Chairperson Legal Service Authority cum District & Session Judge, Jalandhar. The worthy Chief Guest Ms. Rupinderjit Kaur spread the awareness on Right to free legal Services, free and competent legal services to the weaker sections of the society and to ensure that opportunities for securing justice are not denied to any citizen by reason of economic or other disabilities and to organize Lok Adalats for amicable settlement of disputes.

Constitution Day, also known as National Law Day, is observed annually on 26 November to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. The Constituent Assembly adopted the Constitution of India on 26 November, 1949, and it came into force on 26 January 1950, which is celebrated in the country as

Republic Day. As we all are aware, the Government of India had declared 26 November as Constitution Day by a gazette notification on 19th November, 2015. Hence, as is the tradition every year, we shall observe the Constitution Day (National Law Day), also known as Samvidhan Divas, on 26th November, 2021 to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.
15. Webinar On “Scope Of Intellectual Property Rights In Engineering" Date: 1412-2021
A webinar on " Scope of Intellectual Property Rights in Engineering ", was successfully organized on 14th Dec. 2021, by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University Institute of Engineering and Technology, under the aegis of IQAC, IIC and IPR cell. The goal of the webinar was to get participants understand the challenges in applying for IPR, Copyright and Patents.
16. Poster Presentation on The Theme of Energy Conservation
Date: 16-12-2021
On the Occasion of “National Energy Conservation Day” the Environment Sustainability and Management Cell, SBBSU organized a “Poster Presentation” on 16th December, 2021. In order to inculcate the feeling of belongingness towards the environment, the students of various departments were motivated to prepare and present posters related to energy conservation.
17. Intellectual Property Rights: Laws and Practice Date: 21-032022
To make the students familiar with the concept of Intellectual Property Laws and to give a better understanding of the practical aspect of Intellectual Property Rights Laws Sant Baba Bhag Singh Legal Literacy Club, University Institute of law, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar organized Expert Lecture on “Intellectual Property Rights: Laws and Practice” . Ms Renuka, Assistant Professor, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar was the speaker. The guest speaker provided basic knowledge on the concepts of Patent, Copyright, Trademark, Geographical Indication and Design with wonderful examples and provided important insights into the concept of Infringement of IPR and also protection of IPR in other countries and how it differs in India.
18. Water Day Date:22-03-2022
Department of Management has organized activity on 22 March 2022 under which Water Day was celebrated in which students placed water pots for birds. This activity was conducted in the presence of Dr. Ramandeep Chahal, Dean UICM, Coordinator of the Department Ms. Inderpreet Kaur and all faculty members. The students of BBA, MBA actively participated in the activity.
19. Legal Awareness Camp Date: 17-03-2022
Sant Baba Bhag Singh Legal Literacy Club, Legal Aid Clinic, University Institute of law, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar organized Legal Awareness Camp at village Salala, Distt. Jalandhar. Ankit student of BALLB 8th Semester discussed about the benefits of Lok Adalat and Ajaz Tanvir student of BALLB 8th in his address threw light on Alternative Dispute Resolutions. Procedure of Divorce by Mutual Consent & Provisions regarding Parole in the Legal System was discussed by Paramjit Kaur & Indervir students of BALLB 8th Semester. Camp was attended by the Villagers and Punches along with Sarpanch. The queries raised by the participants of the camp answer satisfactorily answered in the Interactive Session by the Faculty Members of UIL Ms Manjot Kaur & Ms Harwinder Kaur.

21. Rights of Acid Attack Victims Date: 08-03-2022
Gender based violence is common scenario in India. Acid attack is gender based crime as majority of the victims of acid attack are women & girls. Acid violence prevents many acid attack victims from living independent lives resulting in denying important rights of women such as economic& social wellbeing, political participation personal fulfilment and self- worth. To aware the participants about the various penal provisions and schemes run by the government relating to acid attack University Institute of Law has organized Workshop on the “Rights of Acid Attack Victims” to celebrate International Women’s day on 8th March, 2022 through online mode
22. Resource Person Dr Navpreet Kaur Vice President, Laxmi Foundation aware the participants about the menace of Acid Attack and about the various schemes run by the Legal Services Authorities for the Acid Attack Victims. Dr Nimmi Assistant Professor, Punjabi University Patiala highlighted the various provisions regarding Rights of Acid attack victims under the Indian Legal System and also highlighted the various judgements pronounced by the Apex Court and High Courts regarding this menace. 200 Participants have participated in the workshop.
23. Swachh Bharat Abhyan Date: 22-03-2022
Department of Management organized activity on Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan under Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan was followed. To keep environment neat & clean, under Swach Bharat Abhiyaan, Students of the department cleaned the surroundings and building of Sarkari Primary School, Ghurial with the collaboration of school authorities and students. This activity was conducted on 22nd March, 2022.
Donations in the UK are being made by specific individuals and families who are linked or associated to the Gurudwara and the saint’s vision.
The donations from the UK are just a small help to the massive aid needed to develop the educational complex.

I report to the trustees on rny examination of the accounts of the above
charity {"the Trust") for the year ended
Responsibilities and
basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are sponsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charitie5 Act 2011
("the Act.)
I report in respert of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination. I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(bl of the Act.
Independent I have completed my exarnination. l Gonfirni that no material matters have
examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
cause to believe that in. any material respect-.
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charities Act., or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting reGords' or
the aG¢ounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
oncerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Ac¢ounls and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a 'true and fair, view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in conne¢tion
with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in
order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
