2. Structure and Governance

Daystar Ministries is an unincorporated charity governed by its constitution adopted on 14 July 2008.

The trustees meet regularly to oversee the charity’s activities and ensure that it operates in accordance with its charitable objectives. New trustees are recruited through a process of nomination and voting and are given an induction into the charity’s operations and policies after demonstrating long-term participation in its charitable activities.

Financial integrity is one of our core values. As such, we aim to appoint trustees with a proven track record of honesty and integrity, who understand the vision and objectives of the charity and are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others.

3. Objectives and Activities

Charitable Objective :

To advance the Christian faith (in accordance with the Statement of Beliefs) for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, and by producing and/or distributing literature and recorded material to enlighten others about the Christian faith.

Main Activities During the Year :

Held regular prayer meetings, Bible studies, and worship gatherings.
Hosted numerous public events to celebrate religious festivals such as Christmas and Easter.
Distributed Christian literature and media (both printed and digital).
Delivered lectures and teaching sessions on Christian doctrine and values.

These activities further our charitable purpose by promoting understanding of the Christian faith and providing spiritual and community support.

4. Achievements and Performance

In this reporting year, the charity:

Conducted over 200 weekly prayer meetings and Bible studies.
Celebrated Christmas & New Years with public gatherings attended by 100s of people.
Distributed 100s tracts, booklets, and audio/video messages.
Provided pastoral care and encouragement to members and new believers.

Feedback from attendees and recipients was encouraging. Many reported a deeper understanding of the Christian message and greater engagement with the community.

5. Financial Review

Income : £56,807.95 Expenditure : £54,959.91 Net Funds : £1,848.04 surplus

Main sources of income were:

Donations from individuals and supporters
Tithes and offerings from regular attendees

Funds were spent primarily on venue hire, literature production, media outreach, and event costs.

6. Future Plans

Next year, we aim to:

Expand outreach by producing more online teachings and digital content.
Organize an evangelism campaign in the local area.
Train and equip more volunteers for prayer and ministry support.
Launch a quarterly Christian newsletter.

7. Statement of Trustees’ Responsibilities

The trustees are responsible for:

Ensuring proper accounting records are kept
Preparing annual accounts in accordance with the Charities Act
Acting in the best interests of the charity and within its constitution

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity ( DAYSTAR MINISTRIES ) for the year ended 31 / 07 / 2024.

Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (specifically part 3 and 4, and schedule 6, which relate to the examination of charities and their financial statements).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or
the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
