Dragons Daycare

Objectives

Encouraging parents/guardians to support, understand and provide for the needs of the children.

Provide the necessary safe, high quality and group play in which parents/guardians have the right to take part Advancing the education and training of the person in the providing of the education and recreational facilities

Year overview

With the establishment of 30 hours free childcare we have seen an increase in income this year. This has helped us sustain the great work done at dragons. We have had a good level of numbers to sustain the whole year and often are fully booked

Everyday Is different here at dragons we do as much

outside play as possible and have different craft activities. We go on daily walks within our local area. The wall displays are changed for every season with countdowns for special events

We have updated our outside area this year and have made an all weather area which which can access whatever the weather. We have been growing vegetables and fruit which the children have loved doing and enjoyed eating.

We are luckily enough to retain our staff and they have all worked within dragons for many years which sees the children have consistency and many come back years later to catch up with them.

Finances

This year sees dragons able to retain a small profit going into the next financial year. This will help to up our reserves

Annual General Meeting

Unfortunately due to the COVID 19 pandemic the annual AGM has not been held within the public domain although the year end report is available for anyone who wishes to see it

As soon as we are able to hold public meetings we will do so
