Objects: 1) To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of The City Of Derby And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Of Age, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authority, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.2) To Advance The Education Of The Public Visiting Markeaton Park In Derby In The Subjects Of Railway History, Development, Engineering And Operation, By Providing A Comprehensive 1:76 Scale 00 Gauge Working Model Railway Layout Designed To Demonstrate Prototypical Railway Operating Practices And To Display And Operate Trains Modelled On Favour Prototypes Illustrating Train Design Development Through Many Decades To The Present Day.3) To Advance The Education Of The Public In The United Kingdom By Enabling Volunteers To Develop Skills In The Fields Of Carpentry, Electric Circuits And Equipment And In Model Railway Operations.4) To Collect Funds To Support The Work Of Railway Children (Registered Charity No: 1058991) Or Such Other Charity As The Trustees Shall From Time To Time Agree.
