In Ottober 2024 one of our trustee5 ￿rrIed out an audlt olthe 8rants provlded to Otacho
Christlan Children's home. ¢overinu all aspeits indudlne finan¢lal a¢countabllityand
OLrtcomes. As a ￿UlE the tfUStees restructured how care and sUPPOrt Is dellvered In the most
efflclent way to maxtmlse the money provided by dwors. whllst stlll keeplng to the core
oblethivesofcarlng for and w0v1d1￿ educatln8 vulnerable chlldren.
The restructurir¥ meant that r¥ther than provldlngfvnds ¥la a local commw¢5ty based
¢>rganisation. all the thlldren have been re8lStered with loc)I boardlng schools. We have
Tetslned the servke5 of a sodal workerand care worker who Ilalse between chlld, school
and 8uardFan. Th15 reflects the way Keny•'s Governmeni wlshes to redLtce the numbèrof
orphana8es and keep thlldren wlthln the ¢ommvn5ty.

provlded forthe Ilbrary. WE have also been able to provlde addttlonal dasses. Sncludln8
computer stuthe5. 5ewlnB and En8lish lanwa8e to widen the sklll bose of the students.
Grants were atso made to establlsh a monthty tralnln8 and support 8roup for leaders
wlthSn the I￿31 tommunlty.

The result for the year was an overall deficlt of £29,319. Totsl reserves at the end ol
the year amounted to £156.923. Restrlcted resef¥e$ at the year end totalled £29,367.
The runnln8 costs of the Trust are mSnlmil and the Trustee5 follow a policy of rai5inu
fund5 before commlttlng any expendlwre. Thefunds held at end of the year wlll enable
thè TNst to ¢￿tInue expand 5UPPOrt of many of ¢h¢)se activltSes and projects lft
