Para
1.20
The charity operates in a number of centres in
Ghana.
VOLTA REGION
Hope Homeopathy Healthcare Clinic and College (Mafi
Kumase)
The clinic has flourished and treats many local people.
The clinic building in the Volta region (Mafi Kumasi)
was completed with HiA financial support in the past.
A further building has now been completed (2020),
funded entirely by HiA. This comprises another
consultation/training room, a library, a dispensary and
two rooms for volunteers to stay in, on the first floor.
Diploma students from the various training centres can
attend clinic and teacher training in Volta, re-enforcing
bonds between centres and encouraging the
development of Ghanaian directed training initiatives.
The first level certificate course has run annually for
the last 4 years with new graduates completing this
year (2020)
KUMASI CITY
The present undergraduate Diploma students will
move into their final year of training in 2021 when they
compete this 3rd year training (2020).
Another round of first level certificates were awarded,
with basic homeopathic remedy kits gifted to each
student. There have now been five rounds of training
at this basic certificate level.
TEMA (OUTER ACCRA)
Rest Homeopathy Clinic and Training Centre
The clinic continues to flourish, run by local
practitioners and students, and treats local people.
The undergraduate diploma students all come together
to train on their diploma course with the other three
branches.
The first level certificate course has now completed for
the third time.
Due to Covid, the next course started in January 2021
and is being taught locally with one international
webinar a month.
KASOA DISTRICT (OUTER ACCRA)
Insight Homeopathy Clinic and Training Centre
The diploma course takes place in Kasoa with all the
students travelling monthly for a weekend of training.
Students also receive weekly webinars via the internet.
The first level certificate course has run for three years
with another cohort completed during 2020.

The Diploma course The Diploma course is designed as monthly face-toface training with GHP volunteers and other members of the homeopathic profession. Other training happens weekly via the internet. Regional clinics The regional clinics also reach out to their local communities and offer out-reach clinics which provide essential care. Some of these communities would not have any access to healthcare without travelling long distances to hospitals and other medical outlets. The clinics also offer learning for students to sit in as part of their clinical practice. During Oct/Nov 2020, the course co-ordinator and one volunteer managed to visit areas of activity. ========================================= Certificate Course in The Congo (DRC) and Kenya Certificate courses commenced during 2020 in both Kenya and DRC. The Certificate course teaches students the elementary concepts of homeopathy and properties of remedies and will allow them to treat only close relatives with ‘first aid’ remedies.
