To promote and advance public appreciation of the art5 and culture, including through cultural productions, educational material and related public activities.. and To raise awareness and understanding of matters connected with cultural heritage, human rights, artistic expression and inlercultural dialogue where these fall within the charity's purposes. During the year, the charity pursued these objectives by maintaining and developing its educational and culluial presence, including public-facing online resources, video material and social media activity. These channels are used lo preserve and share information about Iranian art, literature, music, history and wider Middle Eastern cultural heritage, and lo make such material accessible lo audiences in the United Kingdom and internationally. The trustees continued to support the charity's public benefit by encouraging engagement with Iranian and Middle Eastern culture among both diaspora communities and the wider public, and by maintaining relationships with artists, researchers, students and cultural contributors. Achievements and Performance Since its eslablighmenl, the charity has developed a record of cultural and educational activity aimed al increasing public knowledge of Iranian and Middle Eastern arts, culture and heritage. Its work has included the organisalion and support of events. performances, interviews, digital reSoUr￿S and public cultur81 content. For the year ended 31 August 2025, the charity's work focused on continuing access to educ8tional and cultural material through ils website and online channels. The trustees maintained the charity's public sources and continued to promote material relating lo Iranian culture, artists, history. architecture, literature, music and heritage. The charity's YouTube and social media presence continued to assist in widening access to cultural material, including inletviews, recordings and archive-style eonlent connected with Iranian art and culture. This supported the charity's aim of reaching audiences who may not be able lo attend physical events and of preserving cultural material for ongoing educational use. The trustees also continued lo consider appropriate opportunities to support artists, students and charitable organisations whose work is consislenl with the charity's objects. Where suitable, the charity may make donations or provide assistance lo organisalions or individuals whose activities further education, culture, heritage or related charitsble purposes. Organisational Structure and Personnel The charity is governed by its trustees. who are responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organisation, eiisuring proper stewardship of the charity's resources and confiming that activities are carried out for the public benefit. The charity doe.s not operate through a trading subsidiary and no tNstee received remuneralion, payments or benefits from the charity during the reporting period. The tfustees ale supported, where required, by self-employed individuals and contractors who assist with the charity's operalional and public-facing work. These seNices are used according lo the charity's needs and may include". adminislra-.ive and coordinalion support, including arranging communicats'ons, interviews and cultural engagemf,.nts', website, video and social media support, including maintaining public online platforms and helping the charity cosnmunicale with audiences, artists and students,. and research, ijesign and technical support connected with the charity s educational resources and digital presence. All such supp()rt is provided on a self-employed or contractor basis as required, and the trustees retain overall responsibility for the charity's activities and governance. Future Plans The trustees iilend to continue developing the charity's educational and cultural work during the next reporting periixl. This will include maintaining the charity's website, YouTube and social media channels, improving access to cultural resources and continuing to Preserve material connected with Iranian and Middle Eastern arts cind heritage. The trustees will also continue lo review suitable opportunities for cultural events, collaborations, interviews and artistic or educational projects involving contributors from the United Kingdom and overseas. Any ctsnfirmed evpnts, donations or related chanlable actsvilies will be reported in accordance with Charity Commission requirements. The trustees Df Toos Foundation were forced to temporarily suspend the "Forbidden Voices- 4bden voice ' project, which began several years ago and was halted by the outbTrak of COVID-19 and several protests and killings ol women in Iran, especially since the text and subject of the "Forbidden Voices" project Is to explain the pain and the suffer of women in Iran and to make this cry of protest heard to the rest of the world In the conditii)ns of oppression in Iran, and of course, it Was not possible to continue and implement it under the circumslc1n￿s. Unfortunalely, the next project, ' Symphony of the Birds-opera - Sheikh Sanan suffered the same fate and throughout 2D25 and half of 2024, despite the selection of music and singers. voices, the preparation of costumes, arid numerous trips and meetings with the creators of this program, due to the repression, the killing of 35,(100 unarmed Iranian youth. and the subsequent outbreak of war and short and long ceasefires. the interruptlDn of the internel and the possibility of a repeat of the war in the future, the inability of players and singers-.0 travel and participate outside of Iran, and many other practical problems, the truth of which is clear lo the whole world, il was temporarily postponed and until peace is restored, no final decision can be made on anv project related lo that region of the world that is safe and carries historical information and enlightenment. Therefore, the trustees have decided lo continue the structure of both projects and prepare them for implementation. The charity I'emains committed lo using both in-person and digital methods to advance education, promote cultural understanding and support public engagement with Iranian and Middle Eastern culture. Responsibilities The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees, Annual Report and for ensuring that the charlty's activities continue lo further ils charitable objectives for the public benefit.
