OKJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Policies and objectives
The objective of the charity is the relief of financial need and suffering.
In planning our activities for the year, the Trustees have given due consideration to the general
guidance published by the Charity Commission's guidanc¢ on public benefit.
Activities undertaken to achieve objectives
In pursuit of these obj¢¢tiv¢s £74,500 (2023: £111,930) was contributed during the year.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
As in pr¢vious periods, the Trustees were ever mindful of the opportunities to help individuals or
organisations where not only was there an obvious need, but specifically where, due to th¢ availability
of money for any genuine purpos¢, it was less likely that the requirement would be easiEy met
elsewhere.
Using that as a guiding, but not inviolable> prin¢ipl¢, the Truste¢s made 13 donations helping a wide
range of disabled, disadvaThtagd and sporting activitieslcauses.
A considerabl¢ donation was made to The Matt Hampson Foundation, a charity aitned at supporting
and inspiring young p¢opl¢ who have been seriously injured through sporL
A further large donation was made to the Clocktower Foundation, a charity d¢di¢at¢d to the efficiency
of th¢ Amied Forces of the crow￿ and in particular the HQ Hereford Garrison.
Significant donations were mad¢ to Breast caTh￿r Kent, London Wheelchair Rugby Club, St. Andrews
Evangelical Mission and the Douglas Badger Foundation.
As w¢ll as these donations, the Trustees made 6 smaller donations.
The Trustees are pleased to report a further year of yupport to a range of organisations, that in so doing,
bcnefits society generally as well as the sEKcific beneficiaries.
