Nottingham Outlaws Amateur Rugby League Football Club
Summary of the main achievements during the period
We run a Rugby League club representing 2 men's teams, a women's team and a
juniors, section.
Provided activities (where restrictions allowed) throughout the year.
In addition to Core activities, we have also hosted University Varsity games, and Old
Boys matches. Additionally, we have hosted Weddings and Work events at the club.
Financial Review
Over the year we made a loss, however, this was a result of having significant
ground maintenance done (floodlights installed being the major activity). This was a
planned investment, using money the club has saved up or been donated.
The charity's policy on reserves
We look to keep a minimum of £2,000 in reserve, to allow for unexpected items
which need paying for, e.g. repairs.
Risks
We have a heavy reliance on money taken over the bar both from Outlaws events,
but also hosting events for others, e.g. university rugby games, weddings. These
supplement our income significantly, so is to an extent a single point of failure.
Other risks we fa￿ are around our facilities. We have maintenance and upgrades
we need to do to our clubhouse, changing rooms and pitch. Critical issues expose
the club to financial risk, e.g. burst water pipes, or roof damage.
