REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD JESUS CHRIST ASSEMBLY - BATH Reports and Financial Statements Trustees report

The trustees present its annual report and the unaudited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025.

Activities for the current year

Church Annual Report 2025

Objectives and Activities

The church continued its mission during 2025 to advance the Christian faith through worship services, Bible teaching, prayer meetings, children and youth ministry, music ministry, and evangelism outreach within the local community.

Regular weekly church services, prayer meetings, and Bible studies were held throughout the year.

The pastors and church leaders remained committed to faithfully teaching the Word of God and providing spiritual guidance, encouragement, and pastoral support to members of the church and visitors.

Achievements and Ministry Activities

During the year, the church organised and hosted several successful events and ministry programmes which strengthened fellowship, spiritual growth, and community engagement.

A Youth Conference was held during the year, bringing together young people for worship, prayer, Bible teaching, and encouragement in their Christian faith. The conference provided an opportunity for young people to grow spiritually and build stronger relationships within the church community.

The church also celebrated Children’s Day, where children actively participated in the service through singing, ministering, reciting Bible verses, and taking part in various presentations. The event encouraged children to develop confidence in serving within the church and strengthened the children’s ministry.

A Children’s Quiz programme was successfully organised twice during the year. Children from other churches were invited to participate, creating an opportunity for fellowship and interaction between churches. The quizzes focused on Bible knowledge and learning, helping children to grow in their understanding of Scripture in an enjoyable and engaging environment.

The church successfully hosted a 3-Day Church Conference which brought together members, guests, and visiting ministers for worship, prayer, teaching, and spiritual encouragement. The conference was well attended and was a time of spiritual renewal and unity among attendees.

In addition, the church held a Choir Conference to encourage and strengthen the music ministry. Choir members participated in worship sessions, teaching, rehearsals, and fellowship activities aimed at supporting excellence and commitment within the choir ministry.

Trustees report continued…

A special Prayer Day was also held during the year, where members gathered together for extended times of prayer, thanksgiving, and spiritual reflection. The event encouraged unity and spiritual growth within the congregation.

The church continued its evangelism outreach activities by going out into the streets of Bath to share the Gospel with members of the public. Church members distributed gospel messages, engaged with the local community, and invited individuals to church services and fellowship activities.

Looking Forward

The church remains thankful for God’s faithfulness throughout 2025 and is committed to continuing its mission of worship, teaching, prayer, evangelism, and community outreach in the coming year. Plans remain in place to continue supporting children, youth, families, and the wider community through ongoing ministry activities and church events.

Responsibilities and basis of preparation of the report

The trustees who are also the management committee of the charity are responsible for maintaining proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charitable company and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

Independent Examiner's report to the Trustees Year Ended 31 December 2025

I report on the accounts of the Charity for the Year ended 31st December 2025 which are set out on pages 5 to 8 of this report.

As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
