REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD JESUS CHRIST ASSEMBLY - BATH

Reports and Financial Statements Trustees report

The trustees present its annual report and the unaudited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2024.

Activities for the current year

Church Annual Report 2024

Objectives and Activities

Throughout 2024, the church continued its mission of advancing the Christian faith through worship services, prayer meetings, Bible teaching, youth and children’s ministry, music ministry, and evangelism outreach within the local community.

Regular church services and weekly fellowship meetings were held consistently during the year. The pastors and church leaders continued faithfully teaching the Word of God, encouraging spiritual growth, discipleship, and Christian living among members of the congregation. Pastoral care and support were also provided to church members and families throughout the year.

Achievements and Ministry Activities

During 2024, the church organised several successful events and ministry activities that supported spiritual growth, fellowship, and outreach.

A Youth Conference was held during the year, bringing together young people for worship, prayer, Bible teaching, and encouragement in their faith. The conference provided an opportunity for youth to strengthen their relationship with God, participate in fellowship activities, and grow spiritually through the teaching sessions and discussions that were held.

The church also celebrated Children’s Day, where children actively participated in the service through singing, ministering, Bible recitations, and presentations. The event encouraged children to use their gifts and talents in serving within the church and gave families an opportunity to support and encourage the children’s ministry.

A successful 3-Day Church Conference was organised during the year. The conference brought together church members, visitors, and guest ministers for worship services, prayer sessions, and Bible teaching. The event was a time of spiritual encouragement, unity, and fellowship for attendees and contributed positively to the life of the church community.

In addition, the church hosted a Choir Conference to support and strengthen the music ministry within the church. Choir members participated in worship, rehearsals, teaching sessions, and fellowship activities aimed at encouraging commitment and spiritual growth within the ministry.

The church also held a special Prayer Day during the year, where members gathered together for prayer, thanksgiving, and spiritual reflection. The event encouraged unity among the congregation and provided an opportunity for members to seek spiritual renewal and guidance.

As part of its outreach activities, the church carried out evangelism in the streets of Bath. Church members went out into the local community to share the Gospel, speak with members of the public, distribute gospel messages, and invite individuals to church services and fellowship activities.

The church looks forward to continuing and developing its ministry activities in the coming year for the benefit of both the congregation and the wider community.

Independent Examiner's report to the Trustees Year Ended 31 December 2024

I report on the accounts of the Charity for the Year ended 31st December 2024 which are set out on pages 5 to 8 of this report.

As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or

the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
