The Trnstees have adopted the provKsions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to clwities preparing their own accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in th¢ UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective October 2019). OWEcrtVES AND ACTIVITIES The objectiv¢s of Charity as agreed by the Tniste¢s are produced below." SHAIUNG THE BENEFITS OF TIFFJN TAL- THE VISION To create a vibrant and active association provides maximum benefit to the Tiffm School ('Ybe School"), Tiffmians and the wider Tiffin ¢ommunity. TAL - THE OBJECTIVES l. To develop an active community for Alumni, Pupils, Staff (past and present), Parents (p&st and present) and friends of the School which will enable them to keep in contsd for their individual ben¢fiL both social and bustn¢&s and ￿ assist in the ongoing development of the School. 2. To support the School.. a) Financially in ternis of grants, including awards to pupils who. by reason of financial hardship, would not otherwise be able to partake fully in the educational or other activities offered within or outside the curriculum offered by the School. b) With a network of professional help to support the School and each other &8 and when required to further enhance the School's reputation and to assist in the development of its current pupils. 3. To maintain and continue to develop the best possible sports and ￿creational facilities at Grlls￿ allowing pupils, fornier pupils and the local community to engage in competitiv¢ sport and recreation. 4. To develop as wide and diverse a network &8 possJI)le to enable: a) the raising of funds for further development of the School. b) the support of deserving charitable cases. c) the ongoing development of TAL'S sporting and recreationat facilities to meet its charitable objectives. d) Tiffinians to develop their networks. Volunteers TAL has to date relied on volunteers and due to this, staff ￿ are lower th8n would othenvise be the case.

Tiffinian As ociation Limited ort of the Trustees for the Year Ended 30 tember 2 24 continued ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE Charltabk activities The charity made donations to Tiffin School during the period amounting to £70,088 (2023 - £ 11,130). These donations were made to assist the School in developing the comTnunity for aIumni pupils, staff and friends of the School and also to help maintain the sports facilities made available to the whole community of which £31,0(M) (2023." £81,000) was donated to the single pavilion project. Internvdl and external factors The Trustees have considered the effert of the econornic Clin￿te on the figures shown within these financial ststements. The Trustees consider that its Trserves and income-generating &ssets will allow the cbarity to continue its daY-t￿daY artivities for the foreseeable ture. We are always looking to increase our outside lettings, potentiaL although this always h&8 to be balan￿1 against any ass(xiated costs and any additional pressure placed on the volunteeiA wbo have other responsibilities of their own. However, any major building project will require significant fundraising and access to graDts. The Trustees consider the nature of the investments every year. All investments are held in cash to avoid the risk of falling values. The Trnslees meet regularly to addr¢ss operational matters and discuss the financial infOrn￿tiOn presented to them. FINANCIAL REVIEW Princlpai fundlng sources TAL receives funding through mernbers. donations. TAL owns 25 acres of playing fields at Easl Molesey in Surrey. This includes two pavilions and ￿SoCIated equipment for sporting artivities to be carried out by the School. Old Boys, sides and members of the local community. Sports include but are not limited to football, rngby. cricket and athletics. The facilities are available for hire to the local community and the Old Boys, sports sections, which are clubs. As a result of that policy, all the facilities are able to generate income. The houses at 27 and 29 Summer Avenue also ¢ontinue to be let at rn￿¢t rate. Reserves policy The Trustees consider that unrestricted funds not invest¢d in fixed assets or designated for specific purposes ('the free reserves") should 41 be nornially between £75,000 and £125,000. In nornial circumstances, the Trustees feel that th¢ Charity would be able to Continue its current activities in the event of a signifjcant drop in funding or any unexpected expenses with that level of reserves. However, with the firture possibility of18rge capital investment, reserves are being maintained at a higher level. This not only would assist with the direct fimding of any major project but also assist the Charity in tying to obtain any match-funding grants or other financial support which may be available. Jn that circumstance, it would clearly be necessary to consider how the funding would be ry18¢ed or activities changed.

Tiffmian Association Limited Re ort of the Trustees for the Year Ended 30 Se mber 2024 continued FUTURE PLANS The charity has considered the firture of the Dean pavilion b￿ause of its age. accessibility for disabled people and the development of wom¢u's sport following the School's admission of girls into the sixth forni. The S¢h(x)I's pavilion faces similar challenges. The board has concluded that the solution for both it and the khool is a single pavilion projecL Because the School has a record of receiving grant funding and to allow the ground to be managed on a professional basis rther than using volunteers, on l August 2024 TAL completed merger terms with The Tit￿ Sch(x)l Foundation (the Foundation, charity number 1185240), the charitable incoryorat¢d organisation which owns the School's land in Kingston upon Thames and appoints the School's gov¢rnors. As part of the single pavilion proje¢ the board has approved a CODtnl)ution of £112,0(M) towards the archit￿￿$ and related planning Costs which the project requires before it can apply for external and Government finance through to completion.
