Mitzvah Day exists to bring people of all faiths and backgrounds together
through hands-on Social action projects, primarily on one collective day of
action each year in November.
It is proudly Jewis_i-led. and whilst over
90£ of our 1,200 or so UK-base(i projects are run by Jewish grouos, it has
also become a prominent vehicle for Jewi5h-led interfaith activity.

As a charity we want to encourage as many people as p055ible to take part
in Social Action projects to help others. Social Action projects make a
vital diffeLence to the world around us and can inelude a wide variety of

MBE who shared their insight on how to connect and their experience5 of

ensure that we have a full induction process for Tiustees.

Eor 2022 we hope to increase our funaraising and to continue to increase
the capacity of the Mitzvah Day team as we Eebuild and Èxpand our outteach
and impact. Trusrees are determined to ensure overheads remain at a low
evel and that staff are able to function and operate efficiently whilst
encouraging as rnaD_y people as possible to take part in Mitzvah Day and
social action projects throughout the year.
