**Objects:** TO RECRUIT TRAIN MAINTAIN EQUIP AND KEEP IN A STATE OF READINESS A TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO SEARCH FOR AND RESCUE ANY PERSON ( OR ANIMALS ) IN DISTRESS PRIMARILY IN THE LAKELAND AND CUMBRIA FELLS BUT ALSO IN OTHER AREAS AS REQUIRED AND TO RESPOND TO ANY REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE FROM THE POLICE.

**Activities:** The Charity recruits, trains, maintains & equips a team of volunteers who are able to search for and rescue any persons or animals in distress primarily in the Lakeland & Cumbrian fells. The Team also will assist the emergency services in swift water rescue incidents, bad winter weather and urban and rural searches for lost or vunerable persons.
