|**Respective**|The trustees of the charity are responsible for preparing the accounts. The trustees||

||necessary.    As the independent examiner, it is my responsibility to:||

|**Basis of independent**|My examination was conducted in line with the Charity Commission’s Directions.||
|**examiner's statement**|This involved reviewing the accounting records kept by the charity, comparing them||
||with the accounts presented, and considering any unusual items or disclosures in the||
||accounts. I sought explanations from the trustees where necessary. The procedures I||
||undertook do not constitute an audit, and therefore, I am unable to provide an||
||opinion on whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair view’. My report is||
||restricted to the matters stated below.||

Through this project, we offered after-school<br>tutoring and weekly sports sessions at Fulham Cross Academy. Workshops<br>were also conducted to engage parents, helping them support their<br>children's education. This initiative directly benefited students and their<br>families, improving academic performance and building resilience.<br>Keeping Young People Safe:<br>CEF took proactive steps in tackling the rising concerns over knife crime and<br>youth exploitation. In collaboration with the Mayor’s Office for Policing and<br>Crime (MOPAC), we organised events where specialist safeguarding officers<br>educated young people about the risks of knife crime, exploitation, and<br>county lines. These efforts empowered the youth and strengthened<br>community bonds.<br>Football Project:<br>As part of CREP, we initiated a football project to promote physical fitness,<br>teamwork, and leadership skills. Weekly sessions were well-received by<br>participants and parents alike, fostering a sense of belonging and improving<br>social interactions.<br>Essential Support Services:<br>Beyond educational initiatives, CEF continued to provide advocacy and<br>consulting services in areas such as housing and benefits. Our support during<br>the colder months, including financial assistance for utility bills and food<br>bank services, helped vulnerable families cope with rising living costs.<br>Partnerships and Collaborations:<br>CEF’s work is amplified by partnerships with organisations like Sobus, the<br>Young Hammersmith and Fulham Foundation, and the Association of Somali<br>Voluntary Organisations. These collaborations help us better address local<br>community needs and enhance our service delivery.<br>Reflection and Future Vision:<br>Our initiatives have exceeded expectations, with positive feedback from<br>participants and partners. Moving forward, CEF aims to expand its outreach<br>and improve programme offerings to meet the evolving needs of the<br>community.<br>Trustees' Public Benefit Declaration:<br>In accordance with Charity Commission guidelines, the trustees confirm they<br>have had due regard to the public benefit guidance when planning and<br>delivering these activities. These efforts demonstrate our commitment to<br>ensuring that the charity’s purposes are aligned with serving the public good.|
