Wealdstone Youth (Rulsllp) Charlty Account dated 116124 Wealdstone Youth have contlnued to achleve the alm stated wlthln our charltab18 objectives by increasing the number of youngsters who have the opportunlty to lake part in sport within the Rulsllp area, We now have four aclive glrls leams playing in Ihe Capil81 Girls league, in addltion to forty two boys teams In the Harrow Youth League and thr88 Junior Premler League teams. As a club we block booked Alec Reed Academy Astroturf for wlnter tralnlng and for most 7v7 matches, Teams could continue to train when the weather made Grosvenor Vale unplayable at a reduced cost compared lo booking indivldually. W8 continu8d our laa88 of New Pond playing flelds and spent a large surn on pitch malntenance to improve the playlng surface, also Hayes End recreatlon was bcM)ked for matches on grass. In addltion to thls we booked Botwell Green Astro turf for our younger players 5v5 matches to be played throughout the winter season. We continued to18ase the playlng fields al Gr08V8nor Va18 which means we have an area to Iraln {Apr-Sept) and play frlendlles (May-Aug>. We have contlnued to Invest In equlpment, also tralnlng for both n8w and existing coaches. We contlnue to provlde a Saturday momlng Soccer school, a safe fun envlronmenl for under 5s and under 6s, older glrls and SEND players.
