education of pupils in the school in partI￿lar by devloping effective relationships bet*m
thestaff, parents and others associated with the s¢hool.
Engaging In activilies or providing fac41ities or equipment vthich Supp￿ the school and
advance the educatlon of pupils.
The Charlty made payThents to the school of £27,765 In 2024 (2023.. £12,727).
The Tru8tees have glven careful con$ideration to the Charity C(*nmlssion's guidance on
public benefft. The Trustees confirm that they have complied with their duty in Section 17 of
the Charfties Act 2011 to have du8 regard lo public benefit guidance published by the Charity
Commission for England and Wales.
There is no reserves policy on the Chantvs aC0￿nts.
The trustees are fully aware of Iheir indiNidual responsid)ilty arnl accountabilty to ensure that
the charity fundraises legally, responslbiliy and effectively. Fundraising is done through events
for the parents, staff and pupils of the school. The chairty did not engage wilh a professional
fundraiser in the year rlor has the charity received any complaints.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Friends of Penwortham School
Parent Teacher Association (Ihe Chariw) for the year ended 31 August 2024.
Responslbllitles and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Chaiity you a￿ responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance wth the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,).
I report In respect of my examlnatlon of the Charws accounts carrled OLrt under sectlon 145 of
the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions
given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examlner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no matters have cchne to my attention in
connection with the examination glving me cause to believe:
accounting records were not kept In respect of the Charity a8 required by section 130
1) of the Act: or
2) the accounts do not accord wilh thos8 records; or
3)
the accounts do not LY)mply with the applicable requlrements concemlng the forni
and content of accounts set out in the Charlties (Accounts and Reports) Regulations
2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a Yrue and fair view vthiGh is
not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination
to whlch attention should be drawn in thls report In order to enable a proper understandlng of
the accounts to be reached.
