PROMOTING THE COLLECTION, PRESERVATION AND EXCHANGE OF ITEMS OF LITERACY AND BIOGRAPHICAL INTEREST RELATING TO JOHN CLARE;. CONTINUING PUBLICATION OF HIS WORKS TO PROMOTE A WIDER APPRECIATION;. PROMOTING AND ORGANISING PUBLIC MEETINGS AND EVENTS

**Activities:** The main activity of the year is the July festival in Helpston.  This is a weekend of walks, talks, exhibitions, book sales, folk music and dance, concert, and lots of activities around the village.
