The charity is governed by a **Trust Deed dated 2 July 2008** and is registered with the Charity Commission. 

The trustees are responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity. Trustees are appointed in accordance with the provisions of the trust deed and are selected based on their skills, experience, and commitment to the charity’s objectives. 

The trustees meet regularly to review activities, financial performance, and compliance matters, ensuring that the charity operates effectively and in line with its charitable purposes. 

## **Objectives, Activities & Performance** 

## **Constitution** 

The charity is a **charitable trust registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales** . 

## **Selection and Appointment of Trustees** 

Trustees are appointed by resolution of the existing board in accordance with the trust deed. The charity always maintains a minimum of two trustees. Induction and guidance are provided to ensure trustees understand their legal duties and responsibilities. 

## **Objectives and Activities** 

The charity’s objectives are for the **public benefit** , in accordance with Charity Commission guidance. These include: 

- Advancing the Christian faith within the United Kingdom and internationally 

- • Promoting health and wellbeing through pastoral care, counselling, and community support 

- Relieving financial hardship and supporting vulnerable individuals and families 

- • Advancing education through teaching, events, and community engagement initiatives 

The trustees confirm that they have had regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit when reviewing the charity’s aims and activities. 

## **Activities Undertaken** 

During the 2024–2025 period, the charity delivered a range of activities including: 

- Regular worship services and prayer meetings 

- Community outreach programmes and support initiatives 

- Charity shops and fundraising events 

- Social engagement activities such as sports, coffee mornings, and community gatherings 

- Targeted outreach to diverse communities, including Spanish-speaking groups

Supports charitable activities and outreach work within the York branch.

Allocated to support missionary activities both within the UK and internationally.

We hereby report on the financial statements prepared for the year ended 31[st] July 2025 which were submitted along with this note 

## **Responsibilities of the Trustees:** 

The Charity trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 and that independent examination is needed 

## **Accountant Responsibilities:** 

It is our responsibility as an accountant to examine the accounts (under section 43 of the Charities Act), to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission ( under the Act) and to state whether the particular matter have come to my attention. 

## **Basis of Independent Examiner Report:** 

Our examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the CHARITY Commission. 

An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items of disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matter. The procedures undertaken do not provide all evidence that is required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given whether the accounts present a true and fair view and the report is limited to that matters presented in the financial statement.
