In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006 and in accordance with your instructions, we have prepared for your approval the accounts of FRIENDSHIP ZONE LIMITED for the year ended 30 April 2021 which comprise the Income and Expenditure Account, the Balance Sheet and the related notes from the company's accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us.
You consider that the company is exempt from an audit for the year ended 30 April 2021. ## **Trustees Report (2020 – 2021)**
The end of the financial year has still been overshadowed by Covid19 Pandemic. Friendship Zone and all other organisations residing at our community and training centre had faced severe disruptions caused by the pandemic. However, as always, we are continuing to enjoy the patronage of AEP UK Ltd, enabling us to develop our services and low cost rent of premises to like minded organisations at 60 Gold Street, Northampton.
Prior to Covid19 Pandemic Friendship Zone had demonstrated and still demonstrates to the world that hard work and an innovative approach can be the basis for unparalleled success. Friendship Zone has proven that an innovative business model based upon a firm belief in its services can outperform bigger competitors.
Unfortunately due to Covid19 Pandemic a decision has been made that our project Vote2Give had to be discontinued, it did prove to be a success and has enabled us to distribute in excess of £66300 in micro grants to a range of registered charities across the UK, supporting an array of causes. Another project supported by Friendship Zone - Third World TrAid, had to be restructured and to go independent.
Our training and community centre in the town centre of Northampton continued to be a great success until the Covid19 Pandemic, but suffered significant reduction in its revenues due the latter. In overall income generated by the rental revenues continued to secure our charity selfsufficient future.
The number of people benefiting from our superbly located community and training centre, which houses like minded organisations providing various types of community beneficial services reached thousands. It is an excellent example of how a registered charity can survive without asking for money, but earning it by providing cost effective services for the benefit of the community.

We continue to enjoy the tenancy of Diversiti Training in our training centre. Diversiti Training sees hundreds of people to take part in, or enquire about the training programs and support they offer. Other tenants residing at our community and training centre offer community beneficial services of the following kind: immigration advice, music therapy, helping disabled people into employment and training, care support, improving personal health, community DJ, employment and recruitment services, support of people in third countries through trade and children presents supply. However it should be noted that not all of the mentioned services will be able to survive the Covid19 Pandemic with care sector hit badly in particular.
In conclusion, while as always we are extremely proud of our achievements over the last year and were excited to see our projects continue to grow over the next twelve months, Covid19 Pandemic has severely affected our operations and revenues. In the past 12 months Friendship Zone had be re-assessing the direction Friendship Zone should move and what services provision to prioritise!
The decision has been taken to expand its most successful business model and to increase its community venues portfolio, where Friendship Zone manages community venues for the benefit of the general public, as in its opinion that would be the most feasible way to increase its revenues, hence re-instating its micro grants giving activities sometime in the future.
