Governance and management
The charity is operated under the rules of its constiiution adopted 20 March 2008 and
most recenty amended 11 July 2019.
Trustees are appointed by nominalion and election from and by the Membership of
the Charity, at the Annual General Meeting. with each Member having one vote. A
simple majority is required for appointrnenL Terms of office are for three years. with
one third coming up for election every year.
Objectlves and actlvftles
The aim of NPAC is advancing the basic human rights of heallh care and educats'on in
the developing world. primarily in rural. particularly impoverished communities.
The charity transports donated goods for relief and assistance to our link partners,
providing. for example. hospital beds. mobility aids. matemal provisions. school
fumtture and textbooks. The donated goods are sought by us from individuals,
Insti￿tiOnS. corporations and companies.

Advancing the basic human rights of health Ca￿ and education in the developing world.
primarily in rural, particularly impoverished communities. Volunteers. who are ￿ntral
to our activities, benefft by having purposeful occupation and responsibilrty. The wider
local communty beneffts through engagement with our activities. such as work
experience, and through our emphasis on recycling with minimum waste.
NPAC believes that it complies wholeheartedly with the meaning of 'public benefir
defined within Section 4 of the Charities Act. We believe that our acb'vities assist
communities and individuals in their daity lives and improve health care and education.
Our activib'es enhan￿ the human rights and good governance within these
communities and contribuie significanty to recycling.
Summary of the maln achlevements durlng the perlod
The charity has collected household, school and Medical equipment donated by
individuals. companies and other charitable organisations. Sorted the donated the
goods and either shipped them direw to communits'es as aid. sold them to generate
income for the continued operation of the charity or recycled them (Again to generate
income for the continued operation of the charity and to reduce waste).
The charity was able to despatch six contairErs of aid this year. Two to The Gambia
and four to Zambia. The containers We￿ filled with a mixture of donated medical,
school and sports equipmenL
The charity sent funds to Malawi to assist with ongoirbg relief efft)rts following the
devasting floods last year.
The charity continues to work with other agencies. charities and volunteer groups such
as Rotary, Inner Wheel arKI the Women's Institute. We have also continued to support
local Ukrainian group with a range of household and other goods to assist with their
humanitarian efforts in the UK and Ukraine.
Financlal review
NPAC'S available furKls continue to fall as spending outstrips income again this year.
The charity has enough funds to continue day-to-day operations and send a small
nurnber of self-fvnded containers for the coming year.
NPAC will continue to support ongoing projects 'ln country, where po&sible.

The charity's pollcy on reserves
The committee has agreed that rese.rves should not drop below £5,000. If it became
necessary to cease the charitys operations and shut it down, the reseNe would allow
for all costs to be covered during the closing period.
If required, the charity could liquidate its commercial vehicles in order to sustain the
operation of the charity for a short time.
Flnanclal rfsks
Other than day-to4ay running costs, the chaTity has no financial obilgations and
continues to run its ralu¢xl operations from a teAnporary warehouse to vthich it is
granted free u8e. A close eye will be kept on the number of self-funded contsiners
organised for the coming year to ensure that finances are not over stretched. Should
the reserve be reached, the trustees will need to make a decision regarding the
charities future and what should happ￿ to its assets.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of National Police Aid
Charity (the thaiity) for the year ended 31 March 2025.

As the tnjstees of the charity you are responsible for the preparatlon of the accounts
in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,).
I report In respect of my examination of the charity's accounts carried out under section
145 of the 2011 Act and in Garying out my examination I have followed all the
applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the
ACL
