**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AMONGST YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 21 RESIDING IN SUFFOLK AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, BY THE PROMOTION OF THE ARTS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY PERFORMING ARTS.

**Activities:** The Suffolk Young People's Theatre is a three week summer school where young people are challenged to develop a piece of theatre, worthy of public performance at The Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds with 2 weeks rehearsals and one week of performances. This challenge has been successfully met ever since founded in 1979.
