**Objects:** THE CHARITABLE OBJECTS OF THE TRUST SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS:THE RELIEF OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM LUPUS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:(A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AND PROMOTION OFPUBLIC AWARENESS, UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE OF LUPUS;(B) THE SUPPORT OF RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSE AND CARE OF LUPUS;(C) THE PROVISION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF RECREATIONALFACILITIES FOR PERSONS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM LUPUS WITH THE OBJECT OFIMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

**Activities:** BKLT was formed to raise awareness of Lupus and support research into the causes, treatment and cure of lupus. Since establishment it has made giant strides in raising awareness of lupus. Despite acute funding problems BKLT have continued to make donations towards research.The Trustees remain resolute in pursuit of the charity's aims and objectives. We hope to give an improved performance report.
