We focus on activities that directly help address and reduce hardships faced by West African Families living across suburb and rural areas of Greater Manchester .Our Main activities are:Families Wellbeing and Mental-health support; Vocational TrainingCultural Food Bank Provision; Arts & Cultural Heritage;Education & Learning Support ; Recreational & Therapeutic activities
Objects: A) To Act As A Resource For Young People Of African Origin And Now Living In The Borough Of Tameside By Providing Advice And Assistance And Organising Programmes Of Physical, Education And Other Activities As A Means Of: 1) Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals;2. Advancing Education; And3) Relieving Unemployment.b) To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Social, Recreational And Cultural Facilities In The Interest Of Social Welfare Of Individuals, In Particular Those From Families Of African Origin And Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age Infirmity Or Disability, Financial Hardship Or Social Circumstances With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life And Reducing The Effects Of Isolation And Loneliness And Promoting Increased Self-Confidence.c) The Preservation And Protection Of Good Health Among Families Of African Origin And Now Living In The Borough Of Tameside, Including By Promoting Good Parenting Practice And Skills.d) The Relief Of Financial Hardship Among Families Of African Origin And Now Living In The Borough Of Tameside, In Particular But Not Exclusively By Providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Education And Vocational Training.e) The Relief Of Persons In Need Of African Decent And Now Living In The Borough Of Tameside By The Provision Of Advice, Information, Advocacy And Counselling Which Is Tailored To Their Cultural Needs.
