Objectives and activities
The Charitvs objectives are fha advancement of agricultur8 and horticulture for the benefll of the
publlc.
In furth8ranc8 of the foregoing object but not further or othewise the soci@ty shall have Ihe foll￿ng

(a) To hold an annual show known as "Klngsbridge Sliow
<b} To raise funds and to invlte and receiv8 contributions from aiiy person what80ever by way of
subscrlptions and otherwlse provided that the soclety 8hall rKJt undertake aiiy permanent trading
activities in raising funds fcr Its charitable object.
(c) To collect and recelve funds by way of contributions, donallons, 8ubscripti(ws, legacles, grants
and appeals for furtherance of the annu81 shDW.
Review of activities
Kingsbridge Show 2024 was held on Saturday 7th September 2024. The show will contlnue to grow
whi18t trying to rnalntsin a local fool and keeplng it's traditional agricultural and horticultural roots.

Risk recognition
The trustees examine the major risks to which the charily is exposed and are salisfied thal
procedures are in place to mitigate these risks.
Appointment of Trustees
The directors of the company are also Trustees for the purposes of Charity Law. When the
company was formed, it was decided that directors would have to retire after three years by rotation
and would be eligible for re-election at the AGM.
Statement of Trustees. responsibblities.
Company Law requires the Trustees to prepare financial stalements for each financial year thal give
a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company and of the income and expenditure of the
company for that year. In preparing these financial statements the Trustees have..
Selected suitable accounting policies and applied them consistently
Made judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent
Followed applicable accounting standards and statemenls of recommended practice without
material departure, or otherwise staled the reason for such departure
Prepared the financial statements on the going concern basis
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable
accuracy at any time the financial position of the COTnpany and enable them to ensure that the
financial statements comply with the Companies Act 2006. They are also responsible for
safeguarding the assets of the company and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention
and detection of fraud and other irregularitie5.
Small company provisions
This report has been prepared in accordance with the provisions in Part 15 of the Companies Act
2006 applicable lo companies subject to the small companies regime.

Responslbilities and basls of roport
As the charity's twstees of the Company (and also Its directo￿ for the purposes of company law) you
are re8ponslble for the preparatlon of the accounts In accordance wlth the requlrement8 of the
Companlos Act 2006 ('the 2006 Act'}.
Having satisfied mysèlf that the accounts of the Company are not required lo be aLKllted under Part 16
of the 2006 Act and are eligible for independent examination, I report in respect of my examinatlon of
your charity's accounts as c8rried out under seclion 145 of the Charities Act 2011 {'the 2011 Act'}. In
carrytng out my examlnation I have followed the Directtons given by the Chan'ly Commlsslon under
sectlon 145(5) {b) of the 2011 Act.
