The committee,**<br>**whose members serve on a voluntary**<br>**basis, dedicated their time and expertise**<br>**to the governance, administration and**<br>**strategic oversight of the charity.**<br>**Their commitment ensures the effective**<br>**operation and continued development of**<br>**the preschool.**<br>**Volunteers also supported the charity**<br>**through participation in fundraising**<br>**activities held during the year. These**<br>**events helped to raise additional funds to**<br>**enhance resources and opportunities for**<br>**the children.**<br>**Parents and carers further contributed by**<br>**accompanying children on educational**<br>**trips and outings, enabling the preschool**<br>**to provide a wider range of learning**<br>**experiences in a safe and supportive**<br>**environment.**|

We have**<br>**introduced an afternoon session on a**<br>**Thursday in addition to our Monday,**<br>**Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday**<br>**sessions. These changes seem very**<br>**positive and are well supported.**<br>**Staff levels were maintained, training**<br>**needs have been met, with some staff**<br>**achieving much higher training standards**<br>**than required.**<br>**The pre-school continued to hold a close**<br>**co-operative relationship with Garras**<br>**Primary school ensuring a smooth**<br>**transition for pupils into reception class.**<br>**Other pupils also left well prepared for**<br>**other local schools.**<br>**Owlets continue to offer funded hours to**<br>**all ages and have been able to support**<br>**the newly introduced additional hours.**|
