Activities
The charity donates money to schools and students in the Arusha Archdiocese in Tanzania. It also sponsors young people from a Catholic secondary school in Derby who have just completed their A levels to visit schools and parishes there for three months. They are able to socialise with the Tanzanian students and help them with their English.
Objects: 3. Application Of Incomethe Trustees Must Apply The Income Of The Charity In Furthering Thefollowing Objects ("The Objects")3.1 To Advance In Life And Help Young Adults From Parishes In Derby By Developingtheir Mental And Spiritual Capacities So That They May Grow To Full Maturity Asindividuals And Members Of Society.3.2 To Advance The Education Of Pupils In Schools And Parishes In The Diocese Of Arusha Intanzania By Providing, And Assisting In The Prevision Of, Facilities And Funding.3.3 To Relieve Need And Suffering Amongst Parishioners And Others In The Diocese Ofarusha, When And If Natural Or Other Kinds Of Disaster Occur, Through Financial Donations Orother Means Deemed Suitable.4. Application Of Capitalat Their Discretion, The Trustees May Spend All Or Part Of The Capital Ofthe Charity In Furthering The Objects.
