TRUSTEE ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2021 Seen
Chair's Report from 23 September 2020
Unfortunately due to Covid 19 regulations, Greenpath Ventures could not operate and had to go into a state of hibernation.
We are very optimistic that we will be up and running in the near future.

Matt Smith Chairman from 23 September 2020
Manager's Report 2020 - 2021
At the end of last year, | remember writing the Annual Report stating that we faced an uncertain future due to the impending Covid pandemic. | don't think anyone could have envisaged the true scale and impact that would take place and the huge loss of life.
Greenpath Ventures, like all charities, was massively affected as a result.
The past year has really been one of isolation for the whole country and hibernation for us. Our funding has seen an all-time low, as many Funders switched their funding streams to deal with the immediate and very real issues of Covid.
The future is still very uncertain for the charitable sector; and we have already seen a number of small charities disappear. We are hoping that as the vaccine continues to be rolled out and restrictions start to lift we can once again start to see people on our courses and activity days. On a positive note we have once again started to make enquiries and bookings for this summer.
| wish to thank all the trustees, volunteers and our partners who have supported us over the past year. We are as committed as ever provide opportunities to the most disadvantaged people in society and hopeful that this pandemic has raised the importance of being outdoors for people's Mental Health, and as a result will see greater opportunities to extend our work and higher levels of funding.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2021
| report on the accounts of Greenpath Ventures for the year ended 31 March 2021 which are set out on pages 4 to 7.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The Charity’s Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The Charity’s Trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 144 (2) of the Charities Act 2011 (The Act) but that an independent examination is needed.
-
It is my responsibility to: - Examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act, - To follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act, and
-
~ To state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
-
Basis of independent examiner’s Statement
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes considerations of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently | do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
Independent examiner’s statement
In the course of my examination, no material matters have come to my attention which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
-
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
-
- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or - the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of the accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
| have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
