The Langton Community Hall Charity wa5 established in 2008 to operate the Langton
Community Hall built by the Hanbvry Charity for the benefit ol the residents of Tur
Langton, Church Langton, West Langton, East Langton and Thorpe Langton, and the
neighbourhood in the county of Leicestershire. The Hall was firsl opened in 2006, and was
initially managed by the Hall Management Committee of ihe Hanbury Charity. The
Langton Community Hall was registered as a charity on 7 May 2(Kl8.
The Community Centre has been opuated by the Langton Community Hall Charity Trustees
under a lease from the Hanbury Charity drawn up in 2(K18 ftw 35 years at a peppercorn rent.

I report on the accounts of the Charity fix the year ended 31 March 2023, which are set out on pages 2
and 3.

consider that an audit is not required for ihis year under section 144(21 of the Charitie5 Aci 2011 Ithe
2011 Act) and that an independent examination ig required.

My exarrtinalion was carried out in accordance with the Gen￿31 Direction5 given by the Charity
Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting record5 kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records.

unusual items OT disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanation5 from you as trustees concerning
any SLJch matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would ￿ required
in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the Accounts present a 'true and fair
view, and the Tep(Kt is limited to those matters set out in statemeni below.
