**Objects:** TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION AND INTEREST IN THE SCIENCE OF ASTRONOMY AND RELATED SCIENCES AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT AND PURSUIT OF OBSERVATIONAL ASTRONOMY.

**Activities:** The charity provides advice, education and information on astronomy to members of the society and members of the general public. This is primarily done through the holding of monthly meetings at which guest speakers talk about special subjects and members and visitors can discuss and learn about astronomy. The society also has an observatory which is available for use of members and the public.
