The Trustees that managed the charity during the year were Josh Stamp, Lee Forsyth, Alistair Williams, Kim Karmozyn, Leander Hollings, and Deb Priestley (resigned 15 March 2026). Selection to the Board of Trustees is through election by serving Trustees. The charity is a trust governed by a trust deed. The Trustees met regularly through the year to review progress against the charity’s stated objectives and would particularly like to thank Raju, Binod, Pramila and Isela for all their hard work, making this, once again, a very successful year to report on.

Section B: Structure, governance and management

MySmallHelp is a UK registered charity primarily set up as a fundraising arm to support partner projects overseas. During the period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 funds were sent to MySmallHelp Nepal and Marybert School Nepal. These organisations are separate legal entities, are independent of MySmallHelp UK and each have their own local governance and control structures.

Section C: Objectives and activities

C1 Objectives

During the year the objects of the charity were unchanged:

To assist children, young adults and families who are living in conditions of poverty, sickness and distress anywhere in the world in such ways that the Trustees from time to time see fit.
To advance the education of underprivileged children at selected schools in Nepal, Mexico and Peru, providing sponsorship of school fees, educational materials, school uniforms and provision of extra-curriculum educational courses

In planning the charity’s activities, we kept in mind the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit. The focus of activities during this period was as follows:

Finding sponsors for individual children in Nepal to provide access to education for children who otherwise would not be able to go to school (section D1)
Supporting the development of Marybert School in Lalitpur, Nepal (section D2).
Assisting Fundasevi Panama with a new programme to improve the living conditions and education of under-privileged children in Panama. Fundasevi’s excellent work was introduced to MySmallHelp by our Trustee, Lee Forsyth (section D3).

D1 MySmallHelp Nepal

Child Educational Sponsorship Project

Child educational sponsorship has been a key project since the MySmallHelp, Nepal was set up. We have been supporting and sponsoring children from different background who are especially poor, single parent and orphans. This year we have 22 children who are sponsored for education. These children age range from 6 years to 17 years. Out of 22 children, 13 of them are girls and 9 are boys.

Here are the lists of children who have completed their schooling and doing further course as per their interest.

Rebika is currently perusing Bachelor of Science in Computer
Science and Information Technology. It is her 6 [th] semester.
It is a 4 years course. MySmallHelp has been partly supporting her
for her education.

Nabina is doing Diploma in Civil Engineering. She has few papers
to complete her course.

Dipika has completed her Higher Secondary Level. She is now
perusing Bachelor in Business Administration. It is a 4 years

Utri has completed her 10[th] Grade and now perusing Higher Secondary Education in Science. It is a 2 years course.

Simon just completed his 3[rd] year of Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies recently and has another one year to complete. He is also teaching computer at Marybert School.

Manish

Educational Support Year: Since 2019

Manish has completed his Higher Secondary Level and working working part time in a café.

Cyber Security and AI Awareness for hostel children

MySmallHelp was pleased to host Mr. MD Aasif Hussain during his Civic & Social Service Internship (CSSI) from 12th to 25th June 2025. Currently pursuing IT studies in India, Mr. Hussain contributed meaningfully to the program by conducting an engaging one-hour session for the girls at the Children’s Home, focusing on Cyber Security and the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence on today’s generation.

His session provided valuable awareness on online safety, responsible technology use, and future digital challenges, equipping the participants with essential knowledge in an increasingly digital world. We are grateful for his time, dedication, and commitment to inspiring and empowering young minds.

D2 Marybert School – Improving Education and Infrastructure

MySmallHelp continues to play a vital role in supporting and developing Marybert School, ensuring access to quality education for children from underprivileged backgrounds. Through ongoing investment in infrastructure, resources, and academic support, the organization has been able to create a safer, more engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

Key improvements over the year have included classroom renovations, enhanced sanitation facilities, and the introduction of additional learning resources, all aimed at improving both teaching and learning experiences. Beyond infrastructure, MySmallHelp remains committed to the holistic development of students by promoting discipline, creativity, and confidence through various extracurricular activities and programs. This continued partnership reflects our long-term vision of empowering children through education and creating sustainable positive change in their lives.

Long-Term Care and Education Support for Hostel Girls

At the Marybert Children’s Hostel, MySmallHelp is currently supporting 8 girls, many of whom come from the Chepang community. Several of these girls have been living at the hostel for more than 9 years, which shows our long-term commitment to their care, stability, and education. MySmallHelp provides full support for their schooling, including school fees, books, uniforms, and other essential learning materials. We also focus on their overall wellbeing by creating a safe and supportive environment where they can grow with confidence. Since last year, we have expanded our support to include their daily food, ensuring they receive proper nutrition for healthy growth and development. Through this continuous support, we aim to give these children not just an education, but also a sense of security, opportunity, and hope for a brighter future.

Christmas treat for the children living at the Marybert children homes

Charlotte and Aaron once again extended their incredible generosity this year by helping raise funds for the children living at Marybert Children Home. With their support, we were able to provide essential items that directly improved the children’s daily lives, including new bedsheets for everyone, a gas stove, and additional cooking materials to better equip the kitchen. These

contributions have not only added comfort but also strengthened the overall living environment for the children.

Just like last year, the Christmas Eve celebration was a joyful and memorable occasion. The children enjoyed a festive gathering filled with delicious food and cakes for dessert, along with fun songs and dances that brought everyone together in celebration. It was a day filled with happiness, laughter, and a true sense of togetherness. We are deeply grateful to Charlotte and Aaron for their continued kindness and commitment to making the holiday season so special for the children.

D3 Fundasevi Panama

During the last financial year, FUNDASEVI distributed scholarship funds to support children and young people living in extreme poverty in Panama. These scholarships, provided direct educational support to 19 students, including three students with disabilities, and offered additional assistance to their families through food security and humanitarian support programmes.

The scholarships had a meaningful impact on the beneficiaries, ensuring continuity in their education and contributing to their overall wellbeing and development. The programme reached both primary and secondary students, as well as young people aspiring to pursue university studies, reflecting a strong commitment to long-term opportunity and empowerment.

Following recent changes by FUNDASEVI’s management, MySmallHelp has assessed that the organisation is no longer able to continue administering these programmes effectively. As a result, from January 2026 , MySmallHelp has commenced collaboration with a new operational partner in Panama: Zion Foundation , tasked with continuing these scholarship, educational, and humanitarian initiatives under the same objectives.

This transition ensures uninterrupted support for vulnerable children and families, maintaining the programme’s focus on education, social development, and community empowerment. During 2024 and 2025, 16 students between the ages 6 and 17 years old benefited from the programme.

Zion Foundation About the Foundation

Zion Foundation Panama is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting educational opportunities and social support for vulnerable communities across Panama.

The Foundation primarily delivers educational scholarship programmes, food assistance initiatives and community support projects, positively impacting the lives of children and young people living in poverty.

Through its social and educational programmes, Zion Foundation seeks to improve access to education and contribute to the long-term development and wellbeing of future generations.

Programme Objectives

General Objective

To provide educational and social support to vulnerable children and young people living in conditions of extreme poverty, helping them remain within the education system. The programme is aimed at students residing in the Republic of Panama.

Specific Objectives

Provide financial support for school supplies.
Assist with school enrolment and tuition-related costs.
Deliver scholarships through food voucher support.
Promote educational, social and community development activities.

Beneficiaries

Target Population

The Foundation supports:

Children and young people aged between 6 and 22 years.
Individuals living in vulnerable circumstances.
Communities with limited economic resources, including indigenous communities.

Educational Scholarship Programme for Children (2026)

For 2026, Zion Foundation identified 16 children living in conditions of extreme poverty in Panama areas.

Each beneficiary receives:

An annual scholarship of B/.450.00 to support the purchase of school uniforms and educational materials.
A monthly food assistance voucher of B/.30.00 redeemable through local supermarkets.

The programme is designed to reduce financial barriers to education and encourage continued school attendance.

University Scholarship Programme (2026–2028)

Zion Foundation has identified young people experiencing poverty and economic hardship that limit their access to higher education.

The University Scholarship Programme aims to provide financial assistance to motivated students, enabling them to continue their studies and improve future opportunities for themselves and their families.

Scholarships are renewable annually, subject to continued commitment to study.

Family Empowerment Programme

Zion Foundation has launched a Financial Independence and Family Empowerment Programme aimed at supporting the families of beneficiaries in developing sustainable sources of income.

The programme seeks to reduce financial vulnerability by encouraging entrepreneurship and selfsufficiency among parents and guardians of scholarship recipients. Through the support of Foundation volunteers, participating families have received training and guidance in areas including small business development, financial management, budgeting, customer service and incomegenerating activities.

Progress and Early Outcomes

During the reporting period, Foundation volunteers delivered a series of practical training sessions designed to equip families with the skills and confidence required to establish small-scale enterprises.

The programme has already achieved encouraging early results:

Two beneficiary families have successfully launched micro-enterprises.
One family has established a small food sales business serving its local community.
A second family has launched a second-hand clothing business, generating supplementary household income.
Both families have reported increased confidence in their ability to achieve greater financial stability and support their children’s educational aspirations.

Future Development

The Foundation intends to expand the Financial Independence and Family Empowerment Programme over the coming years, providing additional training, mentoring and practical support to more beneficiary families.

By strengthening household incomes and promoting economic resilience, Zion Foundation aims to create lasting positive change that extends beyond individual scholarship recipients and contributes to the wellbeing of entire families and communities.

Section E: Financial Review

E1 Policy on reserves

Much of MySmallHelp UK's income is derived from non-recurring sources and therefore has no fixed or predictable pattern. Expenditure is based on an appeals system through which funds are channelled directly to the point of need. Based on this background, the reserve policy is to make sure that total cash balances do not fall below £1,000 at any one time to ensure that MySmallHelp UK continues to meet the needs of beneficiaries.

At the financial year end, MySmallHelp UK had total cash reserves of £40,565, which was allocated to the General fund (£5,764), support for MySmallHelp Nepal (£9,783), Marybert School Nepal (£240) and funds for Fundasevi Panama (£24,778).

E2 Financial statement review

During the year, MySmallHelp UK collected total donations and other income of £26,329 a decrease of £44,579 compared to the previous year. These amounts included donations of £15,421 to MySmallHelp Nepal, £5,559 to Marybert School Nepal. The General Fund recorded an income of £5,349. Contributions received by the charity are allocated to the General Fund when a donor does not dedicate the donation to a particular purpose.

Reflecting the charity’s success in raising funds this year and in previous years, donations of £15,824 were made to MySmallHelp Nepal, £5,984 to Marybert School Nepal.

Operational costs for the year were £488, including accounting costs of £235 and Just Giving charges of £198.

During the year, the Trustees reviewed internal controls and financial reporting and concluded that these controls were operating effectively, given the operational limitations that apply to smaller charitable organisations.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/03/2024.

Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
