## Message of the Chair

As we reflect on the past year, we are filled with gratitude for the support that has fueled the mission of Friends of Zichron Dovid, now proudly known as 'Twilight Kindness.'

A major milestone this year was our charity's rebranding and name change to 'Twilight Kindness.' This transformation reflects our evolving vision and commitment to kindness that extends to the twilight moments of life, ensuring our reach and impact are even more profound.

In addition to this exciting change, we are delighted to share the launch of a new project, 'On Your Own, But Not Alone.' Recognizing the challenges faced by widowed women—loneliness, isolation, and financial difficulties—this initiative aims to build a supportive community, offering solace and strength in shared experiences. Your support has allowed us to take a significant step towards making a positive difference in the lives of those navigating the journey of widowhood.

Throughout 2022-2023, we have achieved significant milestones and overcome challenges with resilience and determination.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our team, the generosity of our donors, and the support of our community. Together, we have strengthened the foundation of Twilight Kindness, ensuring that our impact will endure and continue to grow in the years to come.

As we look ahead, our commitment to supporting our elderly beneficiaries remains steadfast. Thank you for being an integral part of the Twilight Kindness family. Your trust and partnership inspire us to reach greater heights and make a positive difference in the world.

Gratefully, Rachel Herman Trustee
