Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that disclosed below *) which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

Chair’s Report 2024
I would like to start by thanking the board, school staff, pupil representatives, and volunteers for all their wonderful support. I have been a member of Destination Pond Meadow since 2017 and took over as Chairperson in 2020. Over the past seven years we have achieved so much and it has been wonderful to see the implementation of various projects across the school and how much they have been benefitting the children. Notable projects that spring to mind include the wheelchair swing and roundabout, garden planter, and of course the new mini bus. I am proud to have been involved with these.
I am pleased that in my final year with DPM we have continued to meet our objectives and have hosted successful fundraising events such as Doughnut Day and, of course, Meadowfest. It was wonderful to see the students manning their stalls and having fun with this responsibility. The team of students and staff providing the car wash were particularly hard working and did a fantastic job. Our current project is fundraising for another school mini bus and we have made a strong start towards this.
As I step down from my role with DPM, I would like to wish our new Chairperson, Joanie, all the very best in her new role. She will be a tremendous asset to DPM and with her expertise I am sure there will be many exciting things ahead!
I would like to propose the following objectives for DPM for the year ahead, which I am sure Joanie and the board will develop further as the year progresses:
-
To recruit additional members to the DPM board and develop closer links with parents, carers, and staff at school with the aim of establishing a network of volunteers,
-
To continue holding fundraising events at school and explore new fundraising ideas and opportunities.
Once again, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve with DPM for so long. It has been a privilege that I have thoroughly enjoyed and I wish you all a very successful future.
Emmi Davis
