The Trustees present their report and the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31st March 2025.
Objectives Of The Beaulieu Beaufort Foundation
The Beaulieu Beaufort Foundation was established by a charitable trust made on 5th March 2008.
,
The power of appointing new trustees of the charity is vested in the settlor E. S. Fort OBE LLD (Hon).
The purpose of The Beaulieu Beaufort Foundation is to make grants to individuals and charitable institutions at the Trustees’ discretion. Such grants are given in respect of charitable activities for the public benefit and are made with due regard to the Charities Commission guidance on public benefit.
The Trustees adopt a Reserves Policy that provides, by way of retention of unrestricted income fund, adequate reserves to finance the anticipated level of annual donations.
Results
The results for the year, and the charity's financial position at the end of the year are shown in the attached financial statements.

Statement of Trustees Responsibilities
The Trustees are required to prepare financial statements each year which show a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and its financial activity for the year. in preparing those financial statements the Trustees are required to:

Select suitable accounting policies and apply them consistently;
-
Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent;
-
State whether applicable Accounting Standards and Statements Of Recommended Practice have been followed, subject to any departures disclosed and explained in the financial statements; and,
-
Prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis, unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operational existance.
The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Acts. The Trustees are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention of, and detection of, fraud and other irregularities.

The Trustees Report has been prepared to comply with The Charities Act 2011, having due regard to the guidance published by The Charities Commission.
