Chalrfs report Every day, as a GP, I hear stories from women about their eXper￿ceS at the hands of their male abusers. They are psychologically tortured in their own homes and sometimes physically abused. Often they are then labelled by the NHS with various and often spurious diagnoses and mishandled and misunderstood by other statutory services including the frdmity courts. Loneliness. isolation and self-loathing are often inevitable outcomes of both abuse and our societal response to IL What a contrast to WE:ARE who respond by offering safety instead of fear, listening to stories rather than colluding with NHS d￿orderS and sc¢ialising in contrast to isolation. Jacky, Donna and Kirsty celebrate every life and spread a riot of joy and laughter and happiness wherever they go, and it 18 completely infectious and tr￿11ng.
