The Objective
The THT’s objectives are to relieve poverty and sickness, and advance education around the world through various established projects in memory of Halimah Ahmed by:

1) Working with established international registered charities, focusing on projects that include:

a. The advancement of education
-
b. Provision of clean & safe drinking water
-
c. Economic development in Third World countries
-
d. Support for orphans;
-
e. Health projects
-
2) The promotion of equality and diversity for the public benefit by:
-
a. The elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race, gender, disability, sexual orientation or religion;
-
b. Promoting activities to foster understanding between people from diverse backgrounds;
-
c. Cultivating a sentiment in favour of equality and diversity
-
d. Promoting peace and interfaith dialogue
3) Furthering such other charitable purposes as the Trustees may from time to time determine.

The Halimah Trust’s flagship project the Halimah School of Excellence and now the Halimah College of Excellence, in Wazirabad Pakistan. The Halimah School of Excellence was opened April 2011 and the Halimah College of Excellence was inaugurated on4 April 2019. With 415 girls studying at the School and 230 girls at the College.
