We held twelve public Open Days during the year. Attendance wa!,. slightly down on last year due to having bad weather on a few of our open days. In addition, exti'a days had been arranged for special needs groups, school visits and other local groups. Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or seniices identrfied in the accounts. Para 1.17 and 1.19 The Society has been to various exhibitions around the country. A program of weekSy Evening meetings was held throu8hout the year. All these activities demonstrate the englneerln8 and constructional skills involved in the construction, maintei)ance and exhibition of engineering models. The series of evening meetings, which are ()pen to the public, include talks by guest speakers on many aspects of tradltion, and heritage of engineering, both model and full size. In planning activities through the year, the trustees reviewed and noted the guidance on public benefit.
