Thi5 gives the Trustees powers to exercise their discretion in
the discharge of their responsibilities towards the charity and
imposes no special restrictions upon them.

Tu ddv¢lnce the Christian faith, to relieve sickness and financial
hardship and to promote sood health.

The triistees are always mindfiil of the euidance PLJblished by
the Charity commission on the public benefit.
Activities and Achievement5
The Charity is a community-based church. It meets every
Sunday but is also open durin8 the week to serve the
community. This includes support of a community coffoe shop
that includes a children's playroom. soft play, baby and toddler
cla55e5, and a Friendship group for lonely people. The building
is also used by the scouts, and an archery cla55. There is also a
Eym and music school. There is a large amount of community
use of the building during these times. The funds that are
generated through rental are being reinvested into the bulldln
and its renovation.
The. projert c.ontinues to grow steadily. Last year, the trustees
approved the separation of the coffee shop into its own
Clidritdble Incorporated Organi5ation ICIOI. This strategic
dccision was taken to enable the coffee shop to independently
develop it work coaching programmes and strengthen its
partnerships. particularly with Newport City Council.

In the forthcomin8 financial year, the coffee shop will transltion to
becoming an independent provider of education for Not in
Education. Employment or Training INEETI schemes, in formal
partnership with Newport City Council.
Over the past year, our primary focus has been on expanding
community outreach initiatives and enhancing the building's
acce55ibility and operational capacity for community use.
We are pleased to report that the Trust remains in a strong financial
PO_5ition, with re_sources managed prudently and in full compliance
with the Trust Deed and all relevant legal requirements.
We are delighted to welcome Paul Benser as a new trustee. His
extensive experience in managing similar charities and churches will
bp invaluablp_ to our ongoing work.
Finally, we extend our sincere gratitude to our dedicated staff,
volunteers, and stakeholders for thcir unwavering commitment and
support. The trustee5 remain fully committed to upholding the
highp_st standards of transparency and governance, while pursuing
the long-term achievement of the Trust'5 charitable objectives.
Recruitment and Trainine Thp. dg.c.laration of trust states there must be a minimum of three
of new trustees
trustees, but there is no maximum number prescribed. New trustee5
dre dppuiwILed by d resolution of the existiiig tru5tee5 as a body.
Appropriate training in the duties and responsibilities of a tru5tcc of
a charitable organisation will be provided to any new trustee who
may be appointed.
Reserve5 policy
The reserved fund repre5ent5 the restricted and unrestricted funds
from past operatinB results. The Trustees monitor the level of
rp_sprv@_q and are satisfied the current level of reserves are sufficient
to cover costs.
Risk management
The Trustee5 have a55essed the major ri5k5 to which the Charity is
exposed and are satisfied that systems are in place to mitigate any
exposure to the major risks_

We report on the account5 of the charity (number 1123217) for the year ended 28
February 2025 set out on pages 4 and 5.

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's
trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under Section 144121 of the
Charltles Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It Is our responsibility to:
Examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act.
Follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by
the Charity Commission under section 145(51(b) of the 2011 Act.
and
State whether particular matters have come to our attention.

rp.quired in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a
'true and fair view, and the report is limited to those matters set out in the Statement below.

To keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 2011 Act;
