leaders in diffprent nations of Europe and the world to support local initiatives and regional
conneGtions between ChTlStians. Through the expertise offered in those nalions, benefit and
edification has occuTred in both directions as we have 1p.arnt from each oth8r.
Itinerant Ministries: One of ihe strengths of Harvest Alliance UK/Global is our Itinerant
Leaders and Ministries. These add to the effectiveness of local churches and charities by
bringing expertise and wisdom obtained over many years to the different contexts that we
present. In 2023 at our u￿Eu g8thering in October. we instituted our'circuit Riders, group-
a term derived from the early Reformation Christianity of prcvious centuries where itinerants
would go from town to town in supporl of local Christian gatherings strengthen their work.
This group is mado up of several trusted and tested retired Christian rttinisters and those
ae.lively origaged in .8pecialist ministry to individudls and churches. As Harvcst Aliance moves
forward and develops this further. it 18 hoped that these individuals will both represent.
stimulate and extend our charitable aims both rialionally and internationally. They are also a
great, point of connection to link Hwvest Alliance with other Chiistian Gharilies and churches.
Other Activlties: HaNest Alianc.e UK has offered support to leaders and churches seeking to
eng8ge refugees in their local communities. This Fias been achieved through one-on-one
support and advice. the sharing of best praclice and by signposting leaders to relevant
resoLJrces and 8gencies_ In addition. we have supported the planting of new inttiatives lo
create Christian community amongst displaced peoples who have fled persecution. This has
led to thc lormation of language based Ghristian groups being established in different
location.8 arouiid the UK. The posilive effect of this is to allcviatc F)OV8rty and help integrate
diverse cultural groupings into the greater British society.
Conversion to CIO: Tho Trustees are pre5slng ahead with the process of conversion to a
Charitable Incorporated Organisation {"CIO")- With assislance from external legal advisers. Ihe
wording ot the proposed GIO Constitution is close to being finalised and the Trustees, hope
and expectation is thal the conversion process will. subject to all the necessary consents and
approvals, be completed before the end of 2024.
