I'm thankful to report that currently. mtd-2022. Ctivid-19 pan¢knic is iaryely behind us. Vaccire5 have been
rolled out successfully and infect•)n rate5 have largely been low. symptom5 being mild, generally speaking. We
are Thjw In a post-pandemic world that's thing its best to return to a new nonnal.
For One Cause. that means the s¢hwls we suppjrt have reoFened and t￿1r first prk)rity was to assess the students
and understand the irnpact of little to proFer sctrK>Jling for the best part of years. To that end, One Cause
ha5 been c105ely mnitorin8 I￿aL needs as the get back up and running. and has been more than willing to
prowde ￿SOUrCeS.
Given our anticipation of additional finarKial swyt required by xh)Dls. it was IAtal that One Cause InC￿aSed
our fundralslng efforts. To that end. I'm pleased to ￿pOrt that in¢ome was up 73% compared to last year. Followlng
on from this, we atso deployed more funds towards our mission, with an 80% increase compared to 2021.
Our goal for the next year is to bring back Inprsryh event lundrnlslng. a strategy that has seThed us weil in the
past.

The objective of One Cause is the advancement, improvement and provision of education and training of children
and adult. In Particular But Not Exclusively By Establishing Or Working In CollatrKJration Wlth EdLKational
Institutions. One Cause is committed to raising awareness and funds for provision of education and improvement
of live5 to those around world that have little hjpe of ￿Ing given ￿ opportunity to fLourlsh. Our aim is to
provide a 50cially, financially and environff*ntslly self-sustatning model so that IK31 cornmunities are empowered
and eqUIp￿d to pursue a ffl0￿ enhancing and sustainable futL*e.

The year ended 30 June 2022 has t*en a great year of f4Jndraising efforts wlth the return of the London l*larathon.
our major fundraising event. In total. we managed to raise £57.668 up 73% from last year and we thank our
ge￿rOuS donors for their continued suN)ort and contributK)ns. We pressed ahead with our annual project5 of
swn50ring students in tx)th Auro Foundation In Uganda and Nirvana SC￿10l in India. Alongside thi5 we invested In the
lacllltle5 at the Auro Fwndation.
Financial Revlew
During the year the Charitys total i￿Orne was £57,668 12021: £33,248). Total expeThJiture during the year amounted
to £86,57012021.' C51.7531. net expenditu￿ ￿ring year was £28.IA)2 12021.. £18,505).
Reserves Pollcy
The charity needs to have sufficient reser¥es to enable it to meet its charitable obllgations sknuld there be an
unexpected th)nation shortfall. The existence of unrestricted reserves also offer5 ￿ charity flexibility to plan and
fLFnd major projects within its current programmes in Indla and Uganda. trustees have agreed that the charity
will have reserves equivalent to •￿e1Ve months of i￿orne Iba5ed on the year ended 30 June 2022 income of
£57,668), which ￿1( be reviewed annually to ensure that sufficient fund5 are available to rneet the charitys
obligations. The remaining funds are set aside for OFerational and programme investment. As at 30 June 2022 totsl
general reserves were £133,363 whKh is ￿￿11 aL￿e this level.
StnKture. GovernarKe and l+lanagement
The charity is constituted as a company limited by guarantee and is ts￿refore goverr*d by its memorandum and its
articles of asKKiation. The tfustees meet on a regular basis to make decisions and monitor ￿ work of the charity.
The board of trusiees is auttrK>rtsed to appoint new trustees to fiLi new ¥￿anCIeS arising through the resignatlon or
death of an existing tW5tee.
