d. Power to do all such other things as shall further the attainment of the said objects or aims of the church.

The policy of the Charitable Trust to be the provision of additional finance in order that its objects stated above might be further achieved.

Objectives for the year:

Our plans for the next financial year primarily include the continuing function of the church and its associated activities.

DEVELOPMENT, ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS

 The trustees consider that the performance of the charity this period has been most satisfactory.

 The Charity continues to provide the main objectives of providing and maintaining a place of worship, residence for the priest and the collection of memberships and donations as well as the running cost of maintaining the Church.

 This year the Church has perused a significant project, with regards to providing a meeting hall. The project resulted in a significant increase in the repairs cost of this financial year, resulting in a deficit in the funds brought forward. The deficit is being funded by utilisation of reserves accumulated from previous years’ balance. This project will conclude next year, and it is expected that this deficit will be recovered over the next few years.

 This year has been most unusual with the Covid lockdown taking our building out of action for the first three months of the year. However, worship services and meetings continued in an on-line format and, subsequently, services in church continued on a less frequent basis and with severely restricted numbers.

 The Sunday School moved its operations to an online format but, despite this, continues to flourish with new members who have joined the online classes during the year.

 The weekly online prayer group for Primary and Secondary ages continued as normal

 The Ladies Group and Men’s Group still meet regularly online to pray and study the Bible together.

 The Youth Bible Study group and an Apologetics Group continued to meet virtually

 Work on the proposed annexe to provide a meeting room commenced in May 2021 and continued through to the end of the financial year. These works formed the basis of all new development work within the church and, apart from essential maintenance and repair, no new works to the church were undertaken.

 We continued active fundraising to enable construction of the Hall to progress uninterrupted. The Trustees were satisfied with the progress of work by the end of the financial year.

 We continue to maintain the church grounds and graveyard through the assistance of a gardener who attend to the grounds regularly.

 We continued to follow strict COVID-19 safety measures inside the church and closely observed the national guidance, we adopted careful ease of restrictions and encouraged regular COVID infection check when required.

 We noticed an increase in the number of cars used by the congregation and that the car park started to get busy on certain days such as Sundays. We felt that volunteers are needed to organise the car park and ensure clear access to the neighbour's house.

FINANCIAL REVIEW

The financial position of the charity is considered most satisfactory for its first period of account. (Refer to Achievements and Accounts).
