Para 1.41 Achievements against objectives set

After gaining planning permission to build a purpose built canoe centre during 2015. We have now completed stage 1 to build the pontoon for ready access to the water. During 2020 the pontoon was expanded to provide better and safer access particularly for the disabled paddler. In 2022 it is planned to build the compound for the storage of our boats and equipment. Finally during 2022, funds permitting, it is planned to build the new centre which will provide changing rooms, showers and proper storage for kit and boats. We continue to encourage our paddlers to develop their skills by using the new British Canoeing awards of Start and Explore before providing the new Coaching awards.
