EMMANUEL COMMUNITY CHURCH DUFFIELD CHAIUTY No. 1122938 REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31$t DECEMBER 2024 The Annual Accounts show the income and expenditure of this Church, but this report, as a record of events during the year, gives the background infomation. ECC w&s forrned in 1985, and in 1986 we purchased the Old Methodist Chapel which had been in industrial us¢ for over forty years, and was in a dilapidated condition. A ten-year programme of work came to a conclusion in December 1996, when the refurbished upper storey was brought into use, thus making provision lor a whole range of youih and childr¢n's activities, both on Sundays and during ihe week. Other regular week-day aciivities included music rehearsal, church meeting, truslees, meeting, warm spacc, fellowship Meeting and mums-and-toddlcr5. The building was hired out during terni-time to the local Schools Out Club, as well as to the local Girl Guides and Ranger Guides. The building was hired out on Fridays for use by the "Massive" youth club. The Church h&s in place a comprehensive Protection Policy which covers all aspects of the Church's activities with children, youth and vulnerable adults, and which is regularly up-dated. In 1985 Emmanuel Community Church began with thirty-three members and no premises. Today, our excellent stone building of1843 has an up-to-date interior where an 8verag¢ congregation of about thirty meets each Sunday. Signed: ..2023 Chris Greaves
