| Summary ofthe main achievements ofthe charity |
Emmanuel Community Church was involved in and beneficial to many, |
| during | the year | sectors ofthe local, national and international community. |
| The foundation ofour work is basedin and is motivated byour |
| Christian faith which enables us to provide loving care and education, |
| practical and financial support and relief for individuals and families who |
| are suffering, and to contribute to a variety of other charitable projects at |
| home and abroad. Finance raised by Emmanuelis used to alleviate |
| suffering due to poverty, sickness and other social ills known to us. In our |
| experience here at home and in countries abroad, the teaching of the |
| Christian faith and the involvement of members from Emmanuel brings |
| considerable benefits and improvement to individuals and to society as a |
| whole. Emmanuel benefits all ages with specific programmes for children |
| and youth, teaching and encouraging them good values in order for them |
| to grow to become good, loyal and faithful citizens in society today and to |
| be able to deal competently with all the problems and stresses of modern |
| living in a well balanced way. |
| Emmanuel has concern for the welfare of the middle aged and the |
| elderly, giving care, support and encouragement to those who face |
| . hardship or suffering, death or bereavement, illness or pain, family |
| ' breakdown or redundancy etc. |
| Brief statement | ofthe | In the recent past, money has been quickly raised from among the church | ||||
| charity's | policy | on reserves | members, to pay for various projects up to E5,000. As a result, it is not |
| considered necessary to have money held in a reserve fund. |

| It is my responsibility to |

| ~ to follow the procedures laid down |
in the General Directions |
given by the | ||||||||

| ~ to state whether particular matters |
have come to my | attention.
| Basis | ofindependent | My examination was canied out in accordance with General Directions given |

from | the | ||||||||

The procedures | undertaken | do not
| provide all the evidence that would be |
required in an audit, and |

| consequently I do not express an audit |
opinion on the accounts.
| Independent examiner's statement |
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to than that disclosed below *) |

41 ofthe Act); and | |||||||||
| accounts are | prepared | which | ||||||||
| agree with the accounting records and comply with the |
accounting | |||||||||
| requirements ofthe Act; or |
