5. Achievements and Performance

The club has continued to grow over the past twelve months and, as of May 2024, has over twenty teams from U7 to open age and over 350 players registered. There are also in excess of 50 volunteers associated with the club, either operating in a coaching capacity or involved with its day to day running. The goal of having at least two teams at each group has been achieved. Our free Saturday morning sessions, aimed at introducing girls to football, have continued to be popular and work as a way of feeding girls into teams as and when they are ready. In order to accommodate the increased numbers we have taken on additional training and match facilities at Alder Grange High School alongside the existing provision at Valley Leadership Academy. Training sessions are now run each weekday evening with matches played Saturdays and Sundays.

Whilst the majority of income continues to come from subscription payments, this is supplemented by income from the clubhouse at Valley Leadership Academy. Sponsorship generally covers the cost of playing kits.
