5. Achievements and Performance
The club has grown over the past twelve months with the addition of teams at younger age groups and the formation of a recreational team. There were approximately 250 players registered as of May 2023, up from approximately 180 the year before. Our free Saturday morning sessions, aimed at introducing girls to football, have continued to be popular and have also seen an increase in numbers, particularly at ages from 6 to 9.
The club has made a major investment in purchasing and fitting out a clubhouse at Valley Leadership Academy which provides a place for players and parents to meet and to buy snacks and hot drinks. Run by volunteers, this has proved extremely popular and also generates income for the club.
